The service cycle of Costa just makes no sense to me, you tell the member of staff at the till your order, then have to repeat it to the person making drinks. There's no hello, smile, conversation, just a conveyor belt of customers queuing for mediocre coffee.There's very little care taken over the coffee which is the reason for the lack of quality. Portafilters are reused without brushing or even fully knocking out. Dosing is lackadaisical, and tamping is half-hearted and not level.Milk is even worse as they repeatedly reuse pitchers without cleaning them ?.It wasn't even busy, so a bit more time and care taken would produce far higher quality drinks.

The cafe is no different from any other Costa. Service was quite slow compared with others. However the disabled toilet had no toilet roll and hand wash empty, and dryer didn't work. Not acceptable.

Barrister Alex is amazing with fast service. Came with my elderly nan who has a speech impairment and wanted to order, Alex handled this INCREDIBLY with patience and respect. Her serving ability and customer service is out of this world !!! WELL DONE ALL???

Never any free tables and if there is they are dirty.Staff are rude, young lady rolled her eyes at me when I was struggling at the till with my pushchair and bags, wouldn't advise anyone to go here, try simply delicious instead.

My husband and I went in the Aldridge branch of Costa for a cappuccino and latte.The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the drinks were delicious, and the icing on the cake was to sit outside and drink them in the sunshine.Thank you for excellent service.

My pregnant partner and I visited this store, and the service was the worst I’ve seen. There were empty tables, but not cleaned, on asking , for them to clean one, it was like asking for the world, the girl came over with the most put out face, like I was asking for the world. The order came and it was the wrong order, again letting them know this, was like my fault! I thought speaking to the manager would help me in my visit today, to find the managers view was, that me and my pregnant partner should have sat where the tables were empty, not the tables we wanted, crazy or what! Is it to much to ask to pick up a tray and spray , am I really asking for to much? To confirm this is the Aldridge branch!
