“I travelled from Liverpool to meet others from
the south as a convenient halfway location. Easy to access from M42. Second time we have been here and the food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Sunday roasts, with generous serves of seasonal vegetables. Coffee has SLAP and we were able to bring along birthday cakes to share. The wait staff were attentive and we did not wait too long for service even though the restaurant was full! Car parking is good and accessible entries to the pub. It is a dog and child friendly pub. The village of Catherine de Barnes is alongside the Grand Union canals with nice autumnal walks!
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian choices available on the Sunday menu
Dietary restrictions: Ask on arrival and helpful
Parking: Lots of choice, good size bays and electric vehicle charging points
Kid-friendliness: Kids were welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and accessible entry”
