Very nice, great service and relaxed for a place that serves this level of food.

Food sublime, so many layers of flavour and texture, a real delight. Highly recommend the menu.Generally, the service was as expected, very knowledgable about the dishes and efficiently provided. However, during one course, the waitress leaned across my meal whilst I was still eating to take my side plate. I felt very uncomfortable and my space somewhat violated. Then at the end of the meal, we waited over half an hour to a) get the bill despite asking twice and then b) get someone to take the payment.Overall, I would say I hope this was an unusual experience as everything else appeared very well rehearsed and on point.

Hair in my food not once but twice and on the second occasion told it is just a cloth fibre as if it made it a little bit more acceptable one of the waiters had a bad attitude and the amount of leaning over our plates and not to mention the time we sat around 3-4 hours because staff seemed stressed and unsure what to do music was awful and the food was not very nice left feeling as though we had been robbed

We went for our wedding anniversary and was not dissapointed. From the service to the food, the experience was brilliant. We went for the 7 course tasting meal, as we do not eat certain foods, we requested our dietary needs which they catered for. As I stated we were coming for our anniversary, the sent me a special menu where you can purchase balloons, flowers or cakes, which was a lovely touch, the wife was pleased when the flowers came out. Of course, being a Michelin star resturant, the food was delicious, I would defo recommend coming.

A truly excellent experience. The service staff were attentive and friendly. The food was beautifully prepared. A few particular favorites (if I have to choose) were the Potato Tart, warm Sourdough Bread, Ginger Trout, Bream, Skate on the Bone and the Apple Sorbet on the Brauburn Apple.Vegetarian options: The restaurant does ask about dietary requirements upon making the (online) booking. Easy to put in the requirements so kitchen staff is prepared for your arrival.Dietary restrictions: Waiting staff did ask about dietary requirements when they bring the menu to you/your table.

Arrived to two sauce bottles congealed with gunk. Gave to manageress who replaced 3 mealsRed but just wiped top of brown. Undoing brown still congealed inside.Sausages tough, tomatoes cold mushrooms cold and how they forgot a breakfast is unbelievable. Ordered 3 meals. Mum had to wait because they weren't organised. DONT GO

My wife gave me this visit as a Xmas surprise and I was not disappointed. She had booked at the Chef's table and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent and I will not forget this night. The food was outstanding and every dish explained by the chef who had prepared it. It's difficult to pick out one dish as a favourite but it would have to be the Arlington White Egg it was exquisite and the flavours were top notch. We had a little tour around the kitchen and spoke with the head chef and all staff. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would recommend highly. Many thanks to all the staff at Adams for a memorable evening.

We had a lovely meal at Adams. As soon as we entered the quality of service shone and we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. That high level of formal, but relaxed service continued throughout. We threw in a couple of last minute dietary requirements and it was no issue. The food was of a high standard and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole table. I have to say though, for me the front of house staff really made the evening.

I had the pleasure of dining at Adams a few years ago, but my partner, Tilly, has never experienced Michelin starred food before. Therefore, I couldn’t think of a better restaurant to visit as part of her birthday surprise and introduction to fine dining. Shaun and the team made us feel extremely welcome and catered for Tilly’s gluten free dietary needs. We started with a couple of cocktails - the rhubarb martini was sensational! We were served the most amazing canapés which left us salivating and wanting more. We chose the 7 course tasting menu and there followed course after course of the most delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the bisque sauce, and could have eaten ladles of it! Service was exceptional - friendly, polite, and courteous. We can’t wait to visit again. A big shout out and thank you to the Adams team!

Top notch food, top notch service, top notch place. (Only thing I didn’t quite get was the marmalade with fish but it’s probably just me and my tastebuds.)

Wonderful Food & absolutely impeccable service. The tasting menu dessert was out of this world! Amazing flavours, My only slight complaint is that it would be nice to have a tablecloth & the cutlery laid out, Other than that a fabulous experience..
