Visited for lunch. Very informal dining area which allowed you to have privacy or chat with other guests. Extensive menu which offered a variety of freshly cooked meals ranging from an all day breakfast to a full cooked dinner. I chose the homemade steak pie which was delicious. It was accompanied by fluffy mashed potatoes and a selection of vegetables. This hearty meal was then followed by a very generous portion of bread pudding and custard. Again, in the dessert menu was anything from cheesecake to trifle ,so something for everyone. Embarrassed to admit I can’t remember our servers name but she was very professional whilst remaining friendly. Everything was served in a reasonable time and came with a smile. She made sure we were happy with our food without being intrusive.All of this for two people for a grand total of £22 - I doubt this quality of food and service is available at many places for this price.I would whole heartedly recommend a visit.

Amazing and tasty business buffet lunches and breakfasts, with both hot and cold options, always delivered on time. Great service with no fuss, even for the people with high dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend.

I have just come back from this Bistro with my partner for lunch and what a really quaint place to eat in Chatham place . As soon as we arrived , the lady serving ( who was lovely ) told us to find a seat and it would be table service. It was so quiet which makes it different to just eating in a pub or cafe nearby. We chose the pulled pork sandwich, toastie and a couple of drinks and not only was the price good but the food was exemplary. The chef even brought it to the table. Thoroughly recommend and whilst it is a hard place to find, it really it worth having a meal in there. Will be back there very soon.

We eat here weekly after my art class Clint and the team are lovely accommodating and the food is high quality and tasty and beautifully presented. The menu selection is great and always a good range of lovely specials and they will always go the extra mile to provide what you require. Today’s food was delicious and filling and reasonably priced and a good food option in Northfield as a healthier alternative to the fast food options. Great flavours and combinations too! Highly recommend trying it out.

I eat at this Bistro every Tuesday and the food is always amazing. Such a great variety to choose from and always cooked to the hugest standard.Staff are helpful and happy5 /5 from me which is a miracle as I’m the world fussiest eater.

Bistro31 were amazing, and so helpful when I was trying to decide what options to go for when ordering. They had a variety of delicious choices and I was over the moon with the outcome. The food was beautifully presented, generous portions and, most importantly, tasted great! Clinton was easy to deal with, and there were little touches that I wouldn’t even think of such as providing take away trays for people to take food home after our party!
