Good food but very very pricey. Khichu is just 1 poppadom. Expensive!

Delicious food and great

It was my first visit here and I really enjoyed it. It's simply vegetarian street food, tapas style, in a styled café rather than a restaurant. Unless I missed it on the menu you won't find any curries. If it looks full when you enter, note there is also an additional dining room upstairs which I didn't venture into. The service was very attentive, very friendly and helpful, although there can be a bit of a wait at the bar at times. I feel another pair of hands would have helped. You order food and drink at the bar and it is then that you'll notice the huge array of beers. Bundobust also appears to be a brewery. What I had I enjoyed but thought my bhajis were a fraction dry and could have done with more accompanying sauce. I suggest they could invest in better quality cutlery and a plate could be useful depending on your order. Apart from that all was good.Very competitively priced, including the drinks where you can't get a pint from £4.20.I look forward to my next visit.

Booked table at 6.30, seated approx 7pm as no inside table available, we were happy with an outside table, no food till 7.50, when it arrived all cold. Free drinks provided, however, left at 8pm & found another restaurant which was great!!! Really disappointed, staff apologised & blamed on Rick Stein effect, apologised & no charge for drinks & food but really disappointed ☹️

Visited on a Saturday afternoon in the early afternoon. The service was top notch, very friendly and informative. The food was delicious and the choice of beers amazing. Would totally recommend. Gluten free items were sparse were limited but in our party the okra fries saved the day!

It's an amazing place to have alcohol and a bit of snacks when you're hanging out with your buddies. However, if you're going there purely for the food, be ready to be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Except for Egg Bhurji that some cultures across the world classify as Non-vegetarian, all other dishes are strictly vegetarian.

A lovely place to have Indian street food. Neat and clean place, friendly staff. Quick service. As this place near the city centre parking is not near the restaurant. From a price quantity part it might be slightly on a higher side. The taste was lovely. I hope they continue to maintain these standards.Vegetarian options: As this is more of Indian street food it has quite a number of vegetarian options..

Great place. Good quality vegetarian food in large portions... The combo for 6 split between 5 still left us all very full. Staff are friendly and efficient.Excellent music!Ideal city centre venue for food after work.Only downside is a very limited non-alcoholic drinks range if you don't want 'mocktails' or sugary drinks but this is a minor issue.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian with lots of vegan and gf choices. Easy to eat here.

Had lunch in Birmingham branch. The food and service was amazing. Fabulously relaxed atmosphere. We now need a branch in Essex! Cannot recommend this place enoughVegetarian options: What can I say. Everything on the menu was vegetarian with vegan options. Food was very tasty and had we gone in the evening would have happily stayed on and tried even more on the menu
