Every street corner should have a Granny's takeaway to feed the hungry souls.”

“I love Mr Egg. Who doesn't? I lived in Hong Kong for 6 years & travelled around Asia a fair bit. Mr Egg's food reminds me of Taiwanese night markets with its crispy fried chicken well-flavoured & reasonably priced. The portions are always generous, too. The Bubble tea menu is extensive & there are customisation options, too. My go-to is the honey lemon grapefruit tea with bubbles. The popcorn chicken bites are great, the sweet potato fries are gorgeous, and the chicken chop is absolutely huge. One of my fave bubble tea shops in Brum.”

“Genuinely shell shocked with how good their curried mutton rice and peas is! Best place to get mutton from hands down!!! Not a single grain of rice was left spare. Top notch and freshly cooked, most Caribbean take aways microwave their curried mutton NOT THIS PLACE. I'm becoming a huge advocate for this place. I cant recommend this place enough. Yet to try the Indian side of the menu, due to the mutton being as good as it is, me and the missus will be placing an order tomorrow evening. Absolutely stunning compliments to the chef!”
