The Miller and Carter we visited was the least welcoming by a significant margin. The staff appeared bothered by our presence while we waited to be seated, displaying no enthusiasm and responding with blunt ignorance. Our server, Nichola, showed no interest at all, giving the impression she would rather be elsewhere. The food was subpar and not served warm, and even the butter didn't melt on my steak, which is not typical of M&C's usual quality. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We ended up leaving a significant portion of the meal uneaten, paying the bill and departing. The halloumi fries were a highlight, but even my usual favorites, the onion loaf and wedge, weren't up to par in terms of quality. With dining out becoming more of a luxury, especially in the current climate, spending £100-£150 on a lunch warrants a significantly better experience across all aspects.

Great place to go, Mollie looked after us so well could not do enough for us.

Pleasantly surprised!! A Monday evening and the restaurant had atmosphere people dotted around this huge restaurant gave it a great vibe, service was excellent. Prices are steep and I’m not sure I would pay those prices for a steak in a multi-brand chain, therefore I opted for the ‘dirty burger’ and to my surprise it was exceptional. The little pot of gravy is a great addition and I’ll certainly be back to have this again.

Our table service was great when we first arrived, but towards the middle of our meal the service dropped off and we had to keep calling the team over to our table and we weren't the only table to do this ?

Visited 20/3/24 @ 20.00. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Started off disappointed because we arrived hungry & our table was unfortunately not ready. That's where the disappointment ends. We were compensated our delay, the food was really nice, served hot and tasted delicious. Service attentive and fantastic hospitality. I would definitely return to this restaurant but my positive experience and pleasant evening will see me reserving a table at my local Miller & Carter! I never got the managers name to reference him in this review but still wanted to say thank you for turning our evening around?

Good service but its a bit pretentious and i felt a bit looked down upon in my jeans, hoody and long hair when i was standing at the front desk but our waiter was good. I must look really dodge as the guy in the table next to me quicky removed his wallet from his jacket pocket when i sat down which made me laugh out loud so maybe i should rate it higher as that was quite amusing. Steaks just ok but my wife loved her seabass.
