Unfortunately I can't give a review. We wanted to eat there with a total of 9 people. Although there would have been enough space, we were told that we couldn't get a seat because there were too many people and such large groups weren't served.

Awful service wanted to split bill in two as was with friends and my daughter explained I had Tesco vouchers which I wanted to use for myself and daughter . The other party did not have vouchers we would never pay together anyway and have done this consistently before . Manager was obnoxious only interested in the money no customer service skills pizza express should not partake to Tesco voucher if they do not really want them . I refused to give that manager any of my money , others had placed order so I sat there without anything to eat. Would have gone elsewhere but was a concert night so obviously hectic which is why we rebooked . Will not be visiting again

Pre booked table for 7,,, signs up saying fully booked only pre bookings allowed. We arrived 10 minutes before our booked time, staff member checked our booking and quickly had us sat our a table. The restaurant at this time was very quiet, only around 4 - 5 tables with people. It took a long, long time to get served , in fact, we had to go and ask for our order to be taken. Once order was taken, everything was very slow, drinks, starters, and mains were just ridiculous long,,,, over an hour to get mains. While the food was reasonably tasty, some of the pizzas were not very hot, clearly been stood for a while while others were cooking. Despite asking for the pepper grinder and chilli oil, we eventually got up to get our own. The staff started to clear plates while some were still eating. They even attempted to remove my daughters plate while she was clearly eating (food still on plate). We were overcharged on the bill, an additional pizza was added,,, we did not order or eat this pizza, how many times do they try this??? The staff were not interested in serving at all, very miserable and disinterested. Very poor experience for a bill of over £100

We loved the food at Pizza Express. We ordered a Classic Pizza; Veg Giardiniera, Spinach and Cheese Cannelloni and Polenta Chips. In addition to this we also ordered some dips; Basil & Pesto and Chilli Basil.1. PIZZA - The pizza was a very nice choice especially for vegetarians who love veg toppings on their pizza. The pizza originally has vegan mozzarella but we asked to get non-vegan mozzarella which was amazing. The crust was perfect and the tomato sauce was really tasty.2. CANNELLONI - The cannelloni came with a Spinach and Cheese filling. It had a tomato sauce base, topped with baked cheese. Just one word - BELLISSIMO ⭐️3. POLENTA CHIPS - We ordered polenta chips in the end which came with a honey and mustard dip. It was slightly disappointing since the first 2 dishes were top-notch. It was fried cornflour sticks. Did not have much of a flavour, hence, it falls short.4. DIPS - Both the dips were awesome!!! The pesto was straight outta heaven. Extremely fresh tasting.All in all, a great experience. Highly recommend!

The chef wasn't that great at cooking and preparing my food. I asked for a standard pepperoni and got a pineapple pizza. I'm disappointed in this and would like to share my experience for other customers. Please have a word with the chef. He 5,8 white with a mole on his face. He kept giving me dirty looks and I felt uncomfortable. Please speak to him. Thank you

Had one of the best experiences eating in a restaurant in a long time here. Our waitress Italy was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble. Very attentive, accommodating and polite. I hope she is recognised by the company as she would be the reason we would choose to revisit! Complete asset to the business.

Danny and Laura were amazing. Totally saved the day when we have been left waiting at the business next door for 45 min for a table, despite being told 10mins, with a very hungry 6 year old.Great food, thankyou again.
