3 of us had dinner last night. Lovely food. Good service. Only niggle: I counted 6 huge screens in the room. Don't think that's needed. It's distracting and takes away from the ambience. Otherwise, exemplary.

The food was excellent even though the Christmas Menu choices were limited. Service was OK, I think we had an evening with mostly new students. The girl serving drinks was lacking in confidence and there were no "teachers" around to guide and train her; which she desperately needs. Our table waiters were mostly OK but pretty clumsy and again lacking confidence with no visible training taking place. BUT the thing I just don't understand is that the website is outdated (bar prices were so far behind they might as well have been quoted in shillings). Management need to sort out things like this. There seems to be a lack of attention to details by Management - who sends menus out with Lager spelt incorrectly! Food A+ Students B Teachers C-

Simply some of tbe best food I have tasted in ages, beautifully presented and an amazing experience. We were out for an early Christmas work celebration and our evening experience was made extra special by the lovely French lady, Michael and Ethan. This is definitely a restaurant I would return to. We all wish you a wonderful career in hospitality, if you can 'hold your own' with a crowd like us......the world is your oyster.Thank you for making our 2023 work event extra special. Fabulous fresh food, flavoursome and beautiful presentation. The front of house staff were polite , friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. The experience of the tutor was great when it came to selecting drinks to accompany our choice of food. As a birthday treat it was brilliant and that was even recognised in the dessert. Five stars from me .

Visited with a friend today for a festive lunch. Very spacious restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Greeted warmly by staff with a complimentary drink. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Goats cheese starter was absolutely devine. Traditional Christmas lunch of roast turkey and all the trimmings beautifully cooked. Panna cotta for dessert was light and packed full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. Fabulous choice of wines too. A really fabulous experience and at such a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
A group of 35 of us went for a Christmas lunch today. Service impeccable. Food delicious except for the roast potato's. Hard exterior with very little potato inside. Think they had been cooked early on and kept warm for too long, but didn’t spoil the experience as everything else delicious. Starter and dessert worthy of Masterchef. Would absolutely recommend. Remember the staff are all students but you would not know it. And on your way out visit the bakery for delicious bread and cakes!

What a fantastic find this is. Hidden within Birmingham University College is a restaurant worthy of five stars staffed by students studying catering and hospitality. The cocktails on arrival were a lovely touch as was having your coat taken before being escorted to the well spaced dining area that allowed both privacy for the dining party and plenty of room for the students to work. It was lovely observing on the job training happening as ever watchful and attentive tutors corrected and encouraged carrying methods, serving styles and wine opening techniques. The food was top class, stylishly plated to a very high standard with well planned complementary dishes. Michael and Ethan were our wonderful servers for the evening and it was cool watching the students confidence grow as they handled our party even joining in with the banter. Well worth a visit if you want high class cuisine at a fantastic price cooked and served by the industry leaders of the future.

I have been once before and had a superb meal, so I was happy to recommend to my friends for a lovely evening out. It didn’t disappoint, the food was amazing and the students were so attentive and good at what they were doing, the room is also lovely, it feels like a real treat, I highly recommend if you are looking for a lovely meal out in Birmingham, will definitely be back again very soon - thank you

Really fantastic food, with great service. Students studying and running the restaurant. Go with the spirit of the place and you will have a great time. We had supper, 3 courses. You have to go in via the main university entrance, but arrive in a great fine dining restaurant
