We attended last night as a festive party of 17. When we arrived we was greated by staff which was lovely and also our table was presented beautifully. Our meals was an absolute 10/10. Compliments to the chef. We had a great night and will definitely be returning

This is my local pub, I come every week without fail and the staff never fail to brighten my day. Food is cheep & tasty & always such a friendly atmosphere. So glad it’s my local.

Visited with family to celebrate my near Christmas birthday. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and, as we had pre-ordered the Festive menu, our table was all set up with crackers, etc. The food arrived quickly and at £14.99 per head for 2 courses was an absolute bargain! The turkey was succulent and the dinner itself was huge! Staff even noticed that we’d run out of gravy and brought out more without having to be asked. We were quite full but the puddings were so nice that we managed to squeeze them in! Little gem of a place and definitely worth a visit!!

A group of three of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at the weekend. Locally recommended we weren't dissapointed. Excellent service, value for money from an extensive menu. Well worth visiting if in the locality.

Very disappointed. I had a mixed grill, the steak was well overcooked, chicken dry and the sausage nearly burnt. The biscoff cheesecake was very hard as if it has just came out of the freezer. Also the main courses came out while we were still eating our starter. Not acceptable in any restaurant!The pitchers of cocktails barely filled 2 glasses and they cost £11. Too much ice and not enough lemonade. This is apparently how they are meant to be, and as iv worked for green king myself I know this is not correct. Such a let down and unfortunately I won't be returning.

A group of 8 of us went on a Friday night for dinner. The restaurant was busy but the service was very good. We did not wait long for our food, all meals were lovely, and all small requests were accommodated. And all for a reasonable price. Very good overall.

This is a gem of a pub. The staff are excellent and are always welcoming and friendly. Often pub food, especially in chains is average. This is in my opinion at another level to normal pub food. I have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. I personally would rate this as excellent for atmosphere, quality and value.

Well worth visiting before the recent Coventry v Norwich match. Good food, nice selection of beer, friendly and accommodating staff, and just as important, good mixture of home and away fans with no animosity towards Norwich fans wearing Yellow and Green! Made to feel most welcome, thanks.

Didn't realise when we booked Cov City had a mid week game. Even though it was very crowded we didn't have to wait very long for dinner. We all had steak, which was beautifully cooked to how we each asked. Love the fact that you can have it on a skillet so it comes to you still sizzling.
Excellent food and service, staff are very friendly and warm and welcoming. Food is good value for money.

Me and a friend were driving through and happened to see the incredible steak night that the Bull & Anchor were serving that night. The temptation was too strong and we stopped in for a meal. We did not regret it one bit, the steak was amazing and all the staff were really friendly especially a gentleman by the name of Kyle. Thank you everyone for looking after us. All the best.

We ordered on the gf menu. When it arrived it wasn’t what we ordered as what we ordered wasn’t gf. So tasted really bland and basically was rubbish. Certainly won’t be going back.
