Some really interesting and novel food. Starter was good and the prawn linguni was tasty.

Coffee was cold, wrong food came so had to wait longer then food was cold. Food eventually came hot but wasn’t good, I had fish finger wrap which was over cooked, wasn’t offered any refund off bill. Overall

Really disappointed with my visit today. The food when it finally arrived (an hour later) was actually really nice but the service was terrible. No one told us there was a backlog of food orders meaning our food would be late nor did we get an apology for it coming out so late but I did overhear a server apologising to the table next to us.When my food came I had significantly less chips on my plate and when I asked for more this was met with surprise, and no apology but I did get more chips shortly after. No one looked after us, but I noticed other people being looked after by various servers. Had to ask for beans for my child’s order as they forgot. We had all finished our drinks by the time food came so had to order more so the bill was more expensive than it should have been.Had to ask for the bill, whereas other guests would get theirs by a server when their table was cleared, again we obviously didnt have a server notice our table needed clearing. Then got forgotten about again when needed card reader. Was glad there was no service charge as I would have asked for it to be removed. Please do better next time, although I won’t be rushing back after today.

Eat first before you go for dinner as the portions are tiny!

I really want to love Millsys because I live in Earlsdon so it’s nearby and I like that it’s busy and has a lively feel, but the food consistently lets it down. I’m writing this review after brunch with my daughter this morning where the food was, as is often the case, just “meh” and it’s frustrating because the things that let it down could be so easily fixed. Today I had bacon sandwich with fried egg: it was fine but just had a load of little annoyances - and I know I sound like I’m being picky but I could have done better at home which kind of defeats the object of going out. Bacon was nice and so was the bread but three things: both slices of sourdough had been cut so badly they were about 1mm thick at the end and that had meant the ends were crispy and burnt; the chef hadn’t buttered the bread, butter was provided, but I had to take the sandwich apart, including runny egg, butter it, then remake it; the egg had been cut I think from a pan of fried eggs meaning it was tiny and weirdly angled with loads of the white missing, which was annoying when the fried egg was £1.50 extra and I think there was about 1/2 fried egg on the sandwich. It was a nice egg though! Also there was a hair in the egg which I had to cut out. By that point I’d already asked for different bread and I didn’t want to make a total nuisance of myself by pointing this out. The hash brown bites are good but were over cooked and overseasoned so I think they were only good in that they are potato and onion which is always good, but they could have been A LOT better.Millsys is an okay option if you’re local and want somewhere convenient to while away a bit of a Sunday morning but repeated visits show that the food quality just isn’t what they say or think it is, and the price isn’t justified because of that. I also wouldn’t travel there. Overall vibe is that when it comes to food they’re not bothered about the quality.

Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice.Overall very good experience

Nice spot for a quick lunch. However I've never had chips so salty ...and I like salty food!

More like a 3.5.I had the full English and gave it a 6.8 out of 10.Thin wholewheat slice for a brekkie? Needs to be a nice thick slice of white bloomer or sourdough. Also it was a little on the "cooked for hours" side. - 1No black pudding. Or white pudding. Or any pudding. - 1No tinned plum tomatoes. - 1Asked for tap water and they bought out 1 glass of water for two people. - 0.2All in all it was pretty decent and tasty, but a few marks off the pace. Get that black pudding on the plate and some proper bread and you're there. A breakfast extras menu wouldn't go a miss either.
