Lovely little place feels very traditional, staff very polite ,we had a mega breakfast, and a small breakfast ,food was OK but the mega breakfast was supposed to come with grilled tomatoes, but was given tinned instead this with the baked beans made the breakfast a bit runny, a bit of a disappointment for two breakfast a nutters mocha coffee and a fruit tea cost over 35 pounds .

This place made me never want to eat out in Coventry again. I got a carbonara that tasted plain, cheap and tasteless like it was made from supermarket pasta sauce with nothing in it. Friend ordered some burger with fries and the burger had practically nothing on it and also looked really ugly. The fewest ingredients in any burger I've ever seen. "Diabolical" is the word she used. Even the fries were tasteless like it was plain potatoes or something. The 2 seater table was also tiny and inconvenient so I didn't like the setting either. Worst food in my life.

I've just been to the so called restaurant. To start with I would change the name as it's a disgrace to call it an Italian restaurant as it's one of the most mediocre places I've ever been.Poor table service, not properly clean cutlery, mediocre food and the coffee it's an absolute disgrace.Nonetheless I had the displeasure of my visit to be accompanied by 20 pigeons, one moment surrounding us, the next second one jumps on our table and the following minute other people sitting 20 cm from us start feeding them. It felt like I was in a Hitchcock movie. Obviously no apologies and no action taken from the staff as they could not be bothered about the fact we could not even eat their mediocre food. When I've paid the bill I politely said they really need to fix this issue and they couldn't be more dismissive. Utter disrespect. One thing it's for certain if you plan on paying them a visit you might end up dropping dead from either the overpriced awful coffee that they serve or a disease from one of their regular pigeons. That's on the house! Major improvements required as people deserve better, much better!

I hate to write this review but I feel like I have to. I used to like this place since it has a nice atmosphere and good food. But after today's incident, my opinion has totally changed.I ordered a bacon egg muffin and was disappointed to find a hair in the egg that was inside the muffin. After informing the waitress, she coldly gasped as if this was a daily occurence. Without an apology, she took the muffin and said she'd get us a new one. Then, just for curiosity's sake, I opened the new muffin and boom...this one also had a hair on the egg inside! I truly felt disgusted at the low standard of hygiene. When we asked to talk to the manager, the waitress told us he had just sent her to apologise and wouldn't talk to us himself. At this point, we accepted the inexistent standard of customer service and just took our stuff and left.Sad to see a place I used to like reach this level.

The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and very well cooked, at some lunch places you can get subpar service but this was wonderful. When I was in and not more than 20 minutes food was came after order. The seating was very well even inside and outside, I don't recommend to seat outside in winter. This was a great choice to sit down when you walked passing by.
