An enjoyable lunch at the Greyhound Inn, Sutton Stop. We received a warm welcome, a table in a nice warm room, with a good selection of beers and ciders. The menu offered something for everyone with a large number of home cooked options. The service was good, the food was good and cooked as requested and prices were fair. Highly recommended which is why it gets a good score with over 2,200 reviews. Keep up the good work, we will return when we are in the area.

We went as a family for a birthday celebration evening meal. The place is beautifully decorated with a traditional charm about it, taking you back to a classic British pub with wooden beams, trinkets on the walls etc… The staff are extremely helpful, happy and engaging, overseen by a manager (Darren) that was ensuring every patron was looked after. The menu offers something for everyone - we chose a wide selection of meals and it was all excellent not only in terms of quality, but also quantity and price - you get a proper meal for your money. The place has a wonderful welcoming buzz about it, topped off by the smiling of a dog that had stretched out in front of the log fire.

We came to the Greyhound Inn for a family birthday meal. I have very fond memories of the place around 25 years ago and I was interested to see how it was getting on with the new owner. Well I couldn’t have been happier! Daz and the team were just amazing! We added an extra person to the table very last minute and they accommodated us with no problems. The food was wonderful! It was all hot and very generous portions. I have the Mac cheese bites to start with then the pie of the day was chicken and mushroom with mash, peas and gravy then the apple crumble and custard to finish. I couldn’t eat it all! It really was wonderful food and we weren’t waiting long for it at all. My son is very fussy with food and he really enjoyed it too. The team were so polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you to Daz and the team. We will definitely be back and we will bring the dog with us next time.

Our recent visit was a bit underwhelming. Menu very small. Not much choice. Mainly standard options. Food that came out was decent enough. Portions ok. Quality ok. Staff very nice and attentive. Just … just …. Ordinary. Nothing special. Not cheap in our opinion. Maybe we were expecting something a bit more than what we got. We take note of other people’s opinion and it seems a popular place but for us standard. Staff were lovely though ?

After searching for somewhere to go for our work Christmas meal, we decided The Greyhound was geographically perfect for us all. What an experience! The pub is old with nooks and crannies, so much character. Locals in the bar and were so friendly. The restaurant is off the bar area. The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. We ordered from the Christmas menu and main menu including three courses for a vegetarian. Every dish served was delicious, we couldn’t find fault with the food the service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit.

Despite an issue with their booking system we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch here today. We had heard that the pub was under new ownership, so did wonder if we would enjoy it.as w e have eaten here several to,es on the past. Worry not! I can honestly say that the staff, chef and manager could not have been more welcoming or helpful. 5 star food and wonderful service. These guys deserve to do well.

What an excellent Pub! Great atmosphere with fantastic staff. Then to top it all the food was off the chart. We had five different meals and five clean plates at the end. Quality was superb quantity was large, everything was hot and very very tasteful. Can't rave enough about this place. A MUST GO Five stars plus.
This pub is one of our new faves. The food was good quality and fairly priced. The interior is oldy worldy and adorable. You need to book ahead of time to get space inside as it’s quite small but they have a decent beer garden and we sat there. They also allow dogs in the garden. The other special thing about the pub is its location, a hidden gem of a historical location that you could easily not realise is there. The pub overlooks the old Coventry canal and there is a nice walk through the area and the pub is a nice start or end for a walk. The only thing I could critique is the garden could do with a bit of a tidy up.

The Greyhound has always had a good reputation for food, and we werent disappointed. The meal was really good. the service was good and the price was good. What more could you ask for. Advise to book though.

The location is beautiful, the service amazing and the food faultless. What's not to love about this friendly traditional pub. If you are in the area I highly recommend you pay them a visit....and maybe try one of their amazing pies.

What a brilliant night..1st time here since the new hosts were in. I had a quick chat before leaving to say how much we enjoyed our fantastic food, great service, and lovely evening our friends and us had. The staff were all helpful, and very efficient.
