Absolutely loved this place! I've not been in a traditional pub that serves truly home cooked food for years! I wish we lived closer. The food was delicious, a good portion size and not expensive, two people, 2 beers, a tea, starter and 2 mains, just over £50.I've often wondered why establishments don't have a reduced menu so that they can cook fresh, good quality food. This is exactly what The Half Moon excels at, we will definitely be back.Thank youParking: The car park is at the rear of the pub, there is also plenty of on street parking.

Nice cosy traditional pub with exceptional service from waiting staff, and Manager an expert on wine ?. Tried the recommended white, friend had red. Both had depth and reasonably priced too.Had the hake spacial with samphire risotto....omg a taste bud feast.Only 4 on atmosphere cos it wasn't busy and couldn't hear background music on lower floor. Minor.As Arni says.... I'll be back!

I have to say the new owners have done an amazing job. This old pub always had so much potential but just needed the right owners to take it forward and I am really glad to see they finally have them. The atmosphere was great, the beer was nice and also the food looked amazing (sadly did not get to try) Keep up the good work team

What a great little pub met the lads here for an early Xmas drink it was like going back in time when pubs were busy and friendly.....me and the Mrs are moving out of town to a village in the near future wolston is lovely so who knows ,?
