My grandmother had her 90th birthday here on Sunday the 9th, with a table of 16. I did not attend but have been asked to pop a review on, on her behalf. The group had a wonderful time and the food and service were excellent. Thank you for hosting, we will be sure to come back for other such events. Thank you for taking such good care of the group.

Fantastic venue, held a family celebration in the front conservatory room. Staff were super helpful, food was amazing and more than enough for the amount we catered for. Highly recommend

Booked my baby shower here in one of the function rooms. The staff were fantastic, super helpful and coudlnt do enough for us. The prices were brilliant and food options were good. When the food was served I was shocked on portions, there was SO much food and not one person complained. The food was outstanding and we even took home what was left over. I would 100% recommend booking here, I've been here for meals plenty of times but thats only usually 2-4 of us, for my shower there was 26 and it was so well catered for. Thank you so much to the brilliant staff for making the day so easy and giving everyone full stomachs!!

The best place to go in Coventry. Friendly staff, clean, and food is brilliant. I live in the Wyken area and would recommend this place 100%

Christmas meal. Starter quite good. Main course much like a school dinner. Undercooked frozen sprouts. Beef overcooked. Dessert passable.Atmosphere horrible. Music too loud. Rowdy cackling woman on table behind. Couldn't hear myself think let alone hear the person sitting next to me. Smokers puffing away next to the door and constantly going in and out made the air at the table stink with their poisonous fumes.Staff were nice though.

Came here for New Years Eve and had the best new years ever.. Great food, great service, brilliant band and brilliant fireworks. Couldn’t thank the staff there enough for such a brilliant night!

Most of the food was nice, some not so. Service was prompt. Soft drinks were quite expensive; £19 for 5 large cokes. I joked it'd be cheaper to buy the kids a pint of beer for their second drink.

We had a works Christmas lunch here. The place was reasonably busy, the two car parks were very busy. The person behind the bar wasn't overly friendly when ordering a drink, after he poured it he heavy handily put the drink on the bar and walked straight off. When the food came out the plates were put down very heavily and the staff bringing the food out didn't seem to be in a good mood. For the starter I had the 'sausage meat bonbon' which there were 3 on the plate and one was smaller than the others but these were nice and could have eaten more. There was some cheap blandish apple sauce on the plate which on the menu said was apple puree. For main I had the turkey which there were two ok slices of meat, one ok size roast potato and one very small one (smaller than a new potato), two parsnips, one small cube of stuffing (not much bigger than an oxo cube), one pig in blanket and a yorkshire pudding. There was a small dish of veg to share between two or three people which was mainly peas, with a couple of small bits of rectangular shaped carrots (like you get in a bag of frozen mixed veg from supermarket) and a couple of sprout on top. The person who brought out the sauce (cranberry and horseradish in small paper cups like you get at McDonald's) and gravy just chucked the plate they were on onto the table and said with an attitude 'pass them down if you want'. The same person brought out someone else's plate who had requested prior to not have something on the plate but they had put this item on there anyway, told them if you are not allergic just give the item to someone else and put the plate down and walked off. For pudding I had the 'traditional Christmas pudding' which was good, the sauce they poured over it was bland. Other peoples puddings varied in portion size so there was no standard. Overall the decor was nice, the staff had a poor attitude (although 1 staff member seemed to be in a better mood than the others). The food was quite poor, had better standard and quality of food elsewhere. Parking can be difficult at busy times and you might have to park on a side road. I wouldn't recommend this place find somewhere else to eat.

We came for our works night party and were well looked after and enjoyed a great atmosphere. The food was quality with perfect portions and great service. Excellent selection of beers and drinks....something for everyone. Very clean and perfect ambience.

Always a great pub to visit for food and drinks. We booked a table and was shown to it. Menu has a great choice and the food was enjoyed by all.

Sunday roast was unbelievable. Find me a better roast for the money. I don’t believe it’s possible in Coventry. Really appreciate the great service, staff could not have been any better. (Slightly disappointed that the lamb has been taken off the menu) Beef was great! Thank you Millpool!

Booked to go at the Millpool for 2 course Christmas dinner, which was excellent. Plentiful succulent turkey with all the trimmings the roasts were like homemade. All finished with Christmas pud and brandy sauce. The beer as usual was lovely, couldn't fault it
