Waterstones cafe is upstairs of the bookshop, there is a lift which is found at the back of the shop making the cafe accessible, there is an accessible toilet located next to the lift. Friendly staff were lost helpful. This cafe has views of Coventrys shopping centre.

Coventry Waterstones is a superb bookshop with very helpful and well informed staff that's more than happy to give you some honest advice regarding your purchases. They also make sure you know of deals and savings and on more than one occasion helped me save couple of quid, adding some extra discounts that I was not aware of.The selection is great and there's definitely a book they'll be able to find to suit anyone's tastes. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are always passionate when discussing books, be it newest titles or some good old classics. While it's true that you may be able to find books a little bit cheaper online, the magic of bookshops is definitely worth buying here. There's a cafe on the top floor that serves some lovely coffee and cakes, that's definitely worth visiting if you'd like a nice relaxing reading session.

Staff found the book I was looking for after spending 30 minutes searching. I wish the public would replace books in their proper position

Carpets and floor were so dirty they looked like they hadn't been hoovered for days. Both the shop floor and upstairs were the same. The toilets were not much better.

Excellent collection of books from diverse authors, with more emphasis on Fiction sections. My favorite section is History. The ambiance is cozy, featuring a small café and a sitting area for tête-à-tête

I don't read but I was nostalgic about the cafe and the window seat vantage point to people watch, the leaflet pushers the homeless the buskers the video interview abd the frozen water feature -6c did that .Service was polite and quick.Photos of the view and of around the cathedral Quarter

I enjoy shopping at Waterstones in Coventry. The staff are extremely helpful and have recommended plenty of good reads. I am thoroughly enjoying reading a variety of books again. The bonus is also sitting relaxing in the cafe with a cup of tea. Don’t forget your Waterstones plus card. All very good value.
