I ordered the katsu curry chicken and had a try at their sushi. There was some delay with food and drinks, but it was to be expected as it was very busy. I advise anyone who orders the sushi to prepare themselves beforehand because the wasabi they use IS the real deal. Never felt spice go up to my head like it did. It was a great experience and I would go there again!

Small portions, very expensive for substandard products. They actually used sliced packet cheese and sliced ham inside a sushi roll! They used crab sticks in their sushi roll which was dry. Were not even generous with their wasabi or ginger. Really disappointing. Won't be ordering again.

This is a wonderful and colourful place. All nicely decorated. Pleasant staff and good food. Had a couple of beef noodle soup and one bento box. 3 teas . Came to £40 and a few pence. Definitely worth a visit.

Ok taste food at affordable price. The menu is very diverse though, and the staff were super friendly. Portion is big for Asian.

Amazing food quality and service...will be visiting again!!

Nice Asian fusion restaurant with good selection of Chinese and Japanese food. Value for money and large portions for reasonable prices. Went there 4 times during my 2-week holiday in Coventry.

We decided to try this place for something different and reviews seemed to be good. The place was reasonably busy. We had booked a table to make sure that we would be able to get a table. We ordered drinks and food which I had the 'chicken katsu curry bento box' which was really nice and would have it again. For drink I had the 'Asahi' which was nice. We also shared the 'classic beef bun' which was ok but not the best. Overall the decor is good, food is good. The place seemed clean. Location is quite good. Staff could have been more attentive though, although they seemed friendly

The service was absolutely terrible unfortunately, we were one of two tables with 3 visible staff and we still had to wait 20+ mins to order drinks. When the food did arrive it was subpar at best and was a disappointment considering all of the high reviews we read. The only redeeming quality to the restaurant was the beautiful decor which aside from the annoyingly bright overhead table lights was spot on and very "instagramable". All hype, and no substance unfortunately.

Yakii is a lovely place that's definitely worth a visit. Not only is their menu quite unique, offering a range of Malaysian, Japanese and Korean dishes, all done with some degree of authenticity, but also the ambience of the place is superb. The decor with Sakura trees, and nice semi enclosed tables makes it a lovely place to go for a date, or with a small group for some celebrations. It's a place that I visit regularly and will definitely be coming back.I strongly recommend trying Laksa, which is simply divine!

I just loved Laksa noodles. Worth eating and also sushi is too good. Most importantly, they serve halal food.

Cute Japanese Cafe, offering an extensive menu of Japanese favourites. Plenty of halal options to choose from too although I opted for the Prawns Katsu Curry and King Prawn Biso this time - I’ll be back to try out the rest! Highly recommend.
