“Visited on a nice sunny day at lunchtime. Very nice looking place, especially in weather like that when you can sit outside by the well tended lawns. I regret I only noticed the balcony later so didn't sit up there.Food is nice, not as good as some of their other Soho venues, but not far off at all. The main lad serving us, bringing out our food etc was brilliant, a real credit to the place. (Sorry I didn't get his name).Only thing I have to suggest is, either put everything on a tab, or take the money for everything up front. Don't mix both. There was some confusion because of this.I tried to buy drinks at the bar right at the start, I was told they'd bring them over to me. They did, and they didn't charge me then.Then I sent my wife in to order the food, they charged her for that and didn't include the drinks. I ordered a second round from our server during the meal and decided to go in to settle it all after I was finished eating.When I went in, at first the barmaid seemed confused that I owed them money, and then she found details of my second round and took the money for that. I could've easily not mentioned or paid for the first round but I'm too honest for that! I had to remind them what I had before settling that one.Upon eventually leaving the place, another member of staff awkwardly reminded me to pay for my second round (still unaware of the first round), & I had to point him in the direction of the barmaid to confirm I had already paid it all up. A bit of a mix-up there, and can't really blame it being busy as it was very quiet at that time.Overall a good place, good food, good staff, just need to pick a system and stick to it.”
