Taste of food was great.Unfortunately starters were cold, over 90 mins wait for main meal (we did book) and extras put on bill at end. Disappointing when meal was ok but you have been over charged, clearly trying to take advantage of a larger group and an extra few £ per person being absorbed.

I just want to know who thought this would be good idea to put curry inside nan dough and fry it! Because it’s definitely one of the worst things that has ever touched my taste bud. Where do I start the dough isn’t cooked inside and outside it’s got very strong smell of oil. I’m sorry it’s not it. I give it a 3 because it was a quick collection and it was warm. I got free papadoms and chutneys which is great.

Outstanding in every possible way, can’t fault them even if I tried!We were greeted at the door, shown to our table, made comfortable and then had our drinks order taken. Once we’d had time to settle in and look at the menu, our food order was taken.Our food arrived quickly and the waiters were very friendly, respectful and professional. We had a good chat and a laugh/joke too. You literally just sit there, enjoy yourself and they do the rest! We weren't rushed, everything was at our pace and when we were ready.Now, I’m not really much of a tipper but I did on this occasion, as they really deserved/earned it!The food was probably the best I’ve ever tasted at a curry house, by far! For reference, we had starters, mains and of course Poppadoms. Prices are fair and portion sizes are decent, for this cost of living day and age…It shows how you’ve been going for so long! So keep up the good work guys and we’ll keep returning!VERY highly recommended ??

Very friendly staff and helpful. Even that your coats for you and hang them up.Food was so nice ?. This was a spare of the moment date night somewhere different. We will go back, it was a lovely evening.

Fab little place! The staff couldn’t do more for you and service is with a smile. You are made to feel very welcome. The selection of food was brilliant and there were several dishes I struggled to choose from as they all sounded lovely and the food around the room smelled amazing! They have a deal on Thursdays for poppadoms, starter, main and side, and tea or coffee for only £15.95 and this was amazing value. Plus they treated us to a complimentary baileys or whiskey at the end! Highly recommend and looking forward to going back soon!
Well I don't normally give reviews But I must do one today I had a chicken tikka bhuna which was very watery with no taste no spices Awful.My wife had chicken tikka masala Awful taste like barbecue sauce.When I was asked if everything was ok? I said No.The manager said that's that's fine it's my opinion WHAT ?When I Questioned the Bill £ 45 he said everything has gone up.So two half lagers two curry's one chip one naan one rice £45 OMG I did pay and told him I would leave a bad review He responded by shrugging his shoulders .I would not recommend this Restaurant on the service I received

Haven't been to the Sunday night 4 course special for sometime so decided we would return as it was really nice and pleasant on our last visit. On this occasion went for the 4 course special again, started were very enjoyable including shish kebab, kebab rolls and the usual starting poppadoms. Mains included chicken tikka bhuna massala and chicken tikka chilli massala, boiled rice and cheese naan. Unfortunately both curries were very bland and tasteless. We had also ordered a takeaway for other family members which we discovered we wrong when we got home but was too late by this point. We have woke this morning having only what can be described as exploding diarrhoea. This has been all family members both that ate inside and from the takeaway. This has unfortunately ruined our experience and our opinion of the Alam and will not be returning.
