We had our Christmas party on Saturday. Once it came, the food was really delicious, nice and hot. Poppadoms were really crispy, and side dishes very fresh. Everybody enjoyed their meals.Parking: Ok

Balti Cottage Kingswinford was always a failsafe restaurant for a lovely meal. Not anymore I'm afraid. They are suffering from a change in chef in my opinion. We have given this restaurant more than enough chances to pull back the quality they once offered but unfortunately they have failed again, miserably. Quality of food is fair, but the taste which once opened your taste buds has long gone. Two chicken Balti's ordered differed so much in taste and colour one can only assume two different cooks had made them. When questioned the manager said the chef was the same! This difference has been apparent on 3/4 previous visits but we've ignored it and given them the benefit of the doubt, but tonight I questioned it and was assured it was the same chef! I ate my meal because I was hungry, only complaining after I'd finished because I didn't want to wait and eat at a different time to my wife. Even after my concerns were raised, the bill wasn't reduced, Neither was an explanation given as to why this had happened again. When the calling customers fall away they will wonder why, they will only then realise that they are at the beck and call of the delivery merchant's that only pay them a small percentage. Look after your calling customers is my message, especially in these strange times. Not only has the taste gone, we have too. Never again, BOOM.
