The Bell lovely place went on Saturday at 1.45ish 15 of us turned up. They moved all the furniture to accommodate us and a wheelchair .Staff looked after us so well and so polite and professional .The food was gorgeous portions very generous and beautiful presentation thank you chef.We will be back to do dessert and coffee.If you are looking for somewhere nice to go for lunch or dinner, I would recommend .Thank you guys.

Visited for the first time yesterday for Christmas dinner, on the booking we made it clear twice that we needed a table for a person in a wheelchair, on arrival the lady at the front of house was quite rude and said you haven’t told us about the wheelchair on your booking. We did, we have the email to prove it and it we mentioned it on the phone. Anyway, it was very awkward and embarrassing - why mention it? Just sort it. We sat down no crackers on table we had to ask and the manager came over and slung them on the table. The food was average, the toast on the Pate was cold. The christmas dinner was tasteless. Our wine glasses smelt of wet dog, this is because they use the same towel over and over again drying the glasses. Won’t be visiting again, the staff were quite rude and it really lacked atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: 1 parking space and staff are rude if you need a table with access.

Our family of 12 were here for Christmas dinner. From the moment we arrived we had the most amazing time. We were greeted with Merry Christmas by all the genuinely polite and helpful staff whose customer service and hospitality skills were first class. The food was delicious, served piping hot and accompanied by copious amounts of roasties, veg and gravy, so much so we had left overs. Drinks were reasonably priced and settling the bill was simple. We left a cash tip and the staff went out of their way to say how grateful they were. I left a message with them to pass on our thanks to the owner on what an amazing job each and everyone of them had done, I hope it got passed on and that they read this post. You guys helped make our Christmas one to remember ???❤️ ps. We were even allowed to take our very well behaved dog ?

This the second time I’ve been recently & I can’t fault it. Lovely home cooked quality food from a chef who takes a pride in their work. Pleasant staff, it certainly deserves to be busier than it is, will do my best to spread the word!

Took elderly family members for lunch. Disabled parking and easy access for walking frame and or wheelchair. Lovely and warm inside. Clean tables, glasses and cutlery. Very polite and helpful staff. Place very clean and tidy. Menu states expect a wait as meals cooked to order, but we didn't wait too long. Enormous portions, piping hot and delicious. Our party had lasagne and beer battered fish. No complaints at all. Absolutely delicious. No big flashy menu, just good home cooked, very tasty food. The pricing reflects the portion sizes and quality of the food. We will be visiting again very soon ??

First time at the Bell tonight following good reviews on local Facebook page it was fabulous there was 5 of us and we had different choices from the menu we were all so impressed and left nothing. The staff were lovely and very attentive - we are definitely going back.
