We love TWHT. Always friendly, always clean, just unfortunately, because of those things, it's always busy! Keep doing what you're doing. See you in the new year.

*Some staff not adequately trained on allergy safety. * no vegetarian option available * lack of segregation for dinners in dinning area. * mediocre food *full.menu not available - only carvery ( contrary to what we had been told when making the reservation) We pre booked an late afternoon meal several weeks in advance. When we arrived the whole dining area was extremely noisy and packed with Christmas drinkers who weren't eating just using the dinning area as extra space for drinking as there was no space for them elsewhere. We were told that the only options available were a carvery/ no childs menu and they had run out of the vegetarian option. Despite the counter staff being told that one diner (child) had an egg allergy so cant eat anything with egg in it they served the childs dinner with Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. When I asked the waiter if the yorkshire pudding and stuffing had egg in he said he didnt think so. I asked him to double check and he returned and said the yorkshire pudding contained egg. He took the meal away and bought a plate of food back 5-10 mins later minus the Yorkshire pudding. I asked if this was a completely fresh plate of food or whether he had simply removed the Yorkshire pudding. He said he had just removed the yorkshire pudding. I insisted on a fresh plate as the yorkshire pudding would have tainted any food that it touched with traces of egg which would be very dangerous to my child. He did replace the meal entirely but he clearly had insufficient training regarding allergens. The food itself was mediocre. The vegetarian had to make do with potatoes and veg etc.
