Very disappointed with service of ASDA superstore in Oldbury/Birmingham. I wanted to top up my gas card and I've been told that can't pay with card payment, due to some internal rules which are not stated nowhere.no sign or warning. Its discrimination to customers rights . shift Manager tried to explain it and not solved the problem . Just seen how he was laughing with his colleague once i go away. Not sure if was because of me and my poor language but this doesn't looks professional at all.Unfortunately been forced to withdraw the money if wish to top up .

The worst Asda you could ever go to, staff are not helpful and are rude, expecially the older generation!!! Got told there was no baskets cause customers steal them! The selection of products they have is awful too. I hate it here

The seated trolley for customers with additional needs has been unavailable for nearly 6 months. Having brought this to their attention no less than 8 times and even spoken to the store manager regarding the issue, no replacement has been provided. If ASDA oldbury does not wish to take custom from people with additional needs, this should be made clear on their website. Being a single parent with a child with additional needs I am no longer able to shop in store whilst ensuring my child and other customers are safe.Really disappointed that such a large company is unable to put such a small issue right for a loyal customer

Every time I come to the fuel station there are 6 pumps closed as they haven’t staffed the hut to pay in. Tonight only 3 of the 12 pumps were operating. It’s ridiculous!

Great place for general shopping. Do not use the scan and go used this only twice and on both actions all items had to be re scanned so don't use on a big shop. Some items got damaged after staff had scanned an re bagged the item only use if under £20 otherwise you will treated like a thief.

The staff is so rude, I only be there for five mins and the store is announced closed, I said to the lady give me two mins I need toot paste give me two mins, she said to me no, I could not. Fine, then I saw she running around shout at customers, so rude. We are your customers, we are coming buying staff not stealing. Staff training need to be improved, please ensure people recruited that they are happy to work there.

CANNOT STAR RATE THIS STORE but wouldn't post without one - It certainly knows how to lose custom -Visited this morning - I will never shop there again - I live Northamptonshire as I come off motorway I call in do my mums shopping who lives nearby - no tills on this morning (only ever a maximum of 2 open anyway) self service fully open but not all people can manage these especially like me today had a full weekly shop absolutely ridiculous, I will do mums shopping at my local Tesco and bring it over with me any price difference if any will be worth it - from one very dissatisfied customer & the 8 customers waiting behind me - I must add that the staff I've encountered there have always helpful and friendly.

Can't beat Asda , reasonable prices & find what you're looking for

Not much to say about this place, its an Asda and sells pretty much the same as any other Asda. Plenty of free parking. Has its own little bakery and petrol station, and is convenient if your on the M5 needing petrol.

They offer a great range of products, just unfortunate half of its not there on the shelves, this supermarket stocking levels have been poor for atleast the last 6months, went this evening, no 50/50 bread at all, rude deli staff telling customers rudely they close at 7pm, not a problem with them closing, but the way this lady spoke was rude and abrupt and she weren't even talking to me.Loads of empty sections in the frozen food isles, ranging from the asda ice cream cones, chips, chicken nuggets etc etc, frozen pizza selection of cheese and pepperoni is really dull. Lack of fresh chicken thighs and breasts also. The self serve tills versus manned tills.... 1 member of staff on what 24ish self serve tills, often you scan and place an item only for the machine to ask for a staff member, I bet they walk like 20k steps a day easily on those self serve tills and image it's not as fast as they think it is. The card machines they replaced no doubt with the cheapest of cheapest budget card machines that are newer but also much slower then the old machines, management in this store apparently don't have a clue how to run a successful store, else they'd probs listen to customers frustrations and there own staffs frustrations and improve stock, systems, morale etc etc.Overall a disappointing experience and it's been like it for a while, hiking up prices and reducing stock level, to then generate demand so hikes prices.... Poor management, and you can hear it from the staff all round the shop as you walk around that it's really going down the pan.
