Popped in for a sausage and fried onion sandwich, absolutely B-E-A-utiful! Exact words from the staff "you should get a bit of everything in each mouthful!" Staff are brilliant fun, had a good laugh! Definitely worth a visit! Proper grub from proper people!!! ???

Radio to loud. Lady behind counter didn't wash her hands when going from meal to meal- handling money straight back to food.Poorly run, food wasn't the best either.

Our first time there in years as we have never been fans of this place before. Now under new management and we had a lovely breakfast and decent ketchup.

The place looks clean, modern & welcoming upon first arrival. The toilets were clean (which is always great) however, its a shame that the manager can't clean his/her staffs attitudes and behaviours up the same way he/she cleans his/her cafe. A domestic appeared to be happening outside the front (only in Birmingham, right ?‍♀️) and the behaviour of the staff inside was disgusting. It appears they may have known the individuals involved but whilst you're at work, you remain neutral, professional and provide good customer service, so as to avoid bad experiences and reviews such as this one from new customers such as myself. Quite clearly there was a lady in distress being intimidated by who I presume was her partner/ex. Instead of recognising domestic abuse, the staff member threw herself into it and verbally attacked the poor lady involved. Hurling abuse calling her a bad mum, & how she wouldn't let this lady look after her children, criticising her profession (which I presume is as a nurse) at one point the gentleman who clearly has issues with his temper, gave the lady's child to this staff member and then she refused to give the child back to her mother. Disgusting! I felt like I was sat in a local cafe on a run down estate like shameless. It's like an appealing piece of chocolate..to look at the place looks nice & grub looks appealing but bite into that chocolate and it's a horrendous coffee flavour (nobody likes coffee chocolate) where the staff attitudes stink worse than the the smell of grease from the local chippy. No wonder in society this stuff is brushed under the carpet with attitudes like that. Absolutely shocked me to the core. Stick to cooking the food because it was nice, some customer service training for your staff & spend less time involving yourself in other people's domestics and more on the food and its a winner.

My fav type of place to eat is the no-non sense 'does what it says on the tin' kitchen restaurant type. Usually in a humble working class town.Where you get a well cooked full English breakfast & a drink for 6.50 quid.No fancy decorations. No pretentiousness.A warm welcoming vibes with everyone chatting to you asking how you are.You leave with a full tummy, a warm heart after a straight up affordable meal.Simple and great.
