Honestly dont waste your money! I ordered a fish wrap which as advertised cod pieces, i was given breaded fried fish with a wrap put together like no **** given! Service was rude and atmosphere the place needs a uplift for sure!! An the main server having a personal conversation on his phone whilst serving just tops it off! Avoid at all costs! Its a disgrace to dixy!You rather go spend your money at dixy in fox hollies which is a true establishment with food you can eat without feeling sick..

I never written any reviews at all on google before. However some reason people rating this Shirley dixy chicken down. Only recently moved to the area and it's only take away place I've been ordering from apart from trying out "Chung Ying" take away once which was terrible and bland compared to Golden Bird in castle bromwhich and did try mcdonald's from ubereats which came COLD. However Dixy Chicken is best tasting food money can buy especially with loaded box/sizzler wings are my go to and cheap compared to other takeaway places I always order around 4pm and meal comes in pipping hot and always yummy (The chips are not the terrible junky ones that you get from KFC and the chips taste real good, the chicken wings are always cooked to perfection. Reminds me of another place called tennessee chicken in castle brom before they gotten taken over/shut down) Not quite sure why people giving it down votes for, I absoluty love the chicken wings.

Definitely one of the worst dixy chickens in the city. The highest priced too which is understandable as it’s in Solihull. The food is always below average. Go to the other end of Stratford road, their quality is much better (and a bit cheaper).
