Nice pub with really good carvery serving delicious roast gammon, turkey and beef with big choices of vegetable side dish. I particularly like the roasted fatty bits on the gammon with stuffing and the delicious gravy and the roast potato. Their chef is really good. Perhaps the best carvery in the area along the Stratford road. Mark the waiter is very kind. He served us very well and made sure we are comfortable with everything. Prices are reasonable. Happy Hours on Thursday-Friday-Saturday. They have a home made pizza and other nice dishes including deserts on the menus as well.

I was looking forward to having a carvery at the plume and feathers on 06 February 2022. Arrived and was greeted by the hostess. She saw us to our seat and said the waitress will give us our tickets and arrange for us to go to carvery. This was dealt with promptly. We went to carvery and was disappointed by the presentation of food. All the vegetables were mushy and overcooked which resulted in them being tasteless.. The beef was dry also.i was shocked by the standard of the food. The staff members appearance in the kitchen was in disarray also. I would not recommend this carvery as the food provided was overcooked and tastless. Very disappointed.

Me and my mates had a 50% off voucher and the service was quick and the food was great value and tasty. A couple of us had pizzas and a couple of us had the carvery. We were very happy and would happily come back.

Been here for breakfast before but not carvery. As always, staff were courteous, attentive and the place spotlessly clean. Carvery was exceptional and pudding options really good value. Staff always happy to accommodate requests, including veggie options, with a smile. Cannot knock this place (the bottomless breakfast is fabulous, too!) Thank you so much

We had a section of the pub for a birthday get together. Food was brought out in timely intervals which meant that there was always piping hot food for people that arrived at different times, to help themselves to. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend

Best carvery I have ever been to, that is why I go every week and sometimes twice a week. All the vegetables are always moist and not dried up like other crown and toby carveries. The meats are always moist and succulent.

Food was fantastic we had a bbq chicken pizza and pepperoni pizza for main and was the best pizzas we've ever had, we had arctic roll and trifle for dessert and even they looked amazing when they came out. The girl serving was very nice and friendly making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend going here. We couldn't eat all the pizza so took it home and my daughter loved it even eating it cold ? wish I'd taken pictures before starting to eat.

Had a lovely carvery here. Couldnt fault it. Nice & hot, plenty of meat & not a lump to be found in the mash 😊. Great value for money & friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone

Showing signs of wear and tear. Not visited for a while and a Pizzaria has been added. Can't comment as didn't try it, but, looks ok. Carvery ok, but, same old choice of meats. A little variety wouldn't go amiss. Men's toilet had water? on the floor and one of the soap dispensers was broken. No lid on the toilet seat. Special offer on (two carveries for £10) so, good value.

It's a wonderful place to treat the family and to spoil your mates. The Carvery is simply amazing and prices are also very reasonable.... Simply put, its just a great atmosphere.

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime, main room was fairly busy but the front room behind the bar was fairly empty. We had a traditional carvery each and being on a lunch hour managed to order, get seated and collect our food within about 5 minutes of entering. Traditional carvery was enjoyable, meat was well cooked and tender, typical selection of vegetables and roast veg plus chips if you really wanted! Enjoyable meal, would visit again.

Excellent service. Brilliant atmosphere. Family friendly. Sunday roast is particularly good. Best I have ever had in a pub. Very reasonable prices. Good beer and plenty of space to park at the back of the building. All round a place I would recommend to anyone
