Absolutely spectacular, Sam is amazing, nice, friendly and down to earth. The bar staff are respectable and are really nice. The pub itself is spotless, clean and is a great atmosphere and they have some amazing food there. Not one to miss 10/10.

Went for tea, nice pleasant staff and good quality of food and drink.\\nThe place was clean and well presented with spaces between tables. A nice ambience to the place.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere at this pub whilst watching the 6N rugby tournament. Delicious Beef and Ale pie and pints of lager poured to perfection. Manager Dave was very helpful, staff very friendly and make you feel welcome. Can’t wait to visit again and enjoy the rest of the tournament.

A great little pub with some quality food in there. Prices are good enough (little more on the expensive side).\\n\\nLots of space with variety of tables for all needs. They play the football as well. There's even a pool table at the back.

Had lunch in the Lawnswood today. Lovely clean pub with really friendly staff. Had the small cod and chips with peas and tartar sauce and it was perfectly cooked and plenty on the plate even though it was classed as a small portion!

Nice enough for a pint and something quick to eat. Great value chicken melt chips peas and a pint for £6.00. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Popped in as we were passing. Haven't been in for many years ago it's changed but only the decor. Ordered the chicken and bacon melt, expected a sandwich, got a meal with chips and peas which was a nice surprise, especially for the price. The food wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was tasty and filled a hole, was cheap enough and came with a drink (alcohol is a pound it so extra... bargain)\\nThe staff were very friendly and polite which is important to me as I hate bad service. I would definitely go back.

Visited recently for some food, which was very nice and reasonably priced. Huge bonus for us was we were allowed to bring our dog in while we ate! Will come again definitely. ðŸ‘ðŸ•ðŸ»

Our first visit was with grandkids to eat. There was a good choice and we all left happy, paid reasonable prices. Toilets immaculate. Seemed a friendly enough place. Will be going back.
Good service. Poor food. No fish!!! Steak like leather even when rare but nearer blue!!
