Food was average. Asked for a dish on the menu to be told they ran out, it was early lunch time and it was myself, partner and little boy in there and another 2 couples. It was okay for a quick lunch

Generally the pub is on the quiet side so not necessarily for you if you want somewhere really lively. But it’s a super friendly local, prices are good, food isn’t fancy but it’s nice pub grub, rarely out of drinks you want/order & the staff are also lovely. Nice amount of space so easy enough to get a table and parking too if you need itVegetarian options: A few good options for veggiesDietary restrictions: They were able to cater pretty well to dietary restrictions of friends we have been with

Very cozy, portions were very small.. but had some amazing tastes going on... Not enough bread with the camembert or crackers for the cheese.I'm not going to be a spoil sport Christmas dinner here was actually really nice, little bland. I just wish I left feeling stuffed like a turkey.. £55, 60pp before drinks?I'll leave u to decide

Visited the Fox & Dogs in Mere Green for lunch. The staff were very friendly. The food was great. The manager Grant runs a great welcoming pub. Well worth a visit before it closes for a refurb and loses its soul.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 course Sunday lunch here, in the bar area, because we had a dog with us. The Yorkshire puds and roast spuds were the best we have had for ages. Great value for the price!
