We visited to get some Christmas decorations and wasn't disappointed! Lovely shop!

Reasonable choice of trees- good prices too, approx £44 for a 6ft tree as opposed to £69 that a 'Christmas tree farm' around the corner was trying to charge. Nice atmosphere and Christmas shop too. Would return

Staff are so helpful and the Christmas shop feels magical, like something from a movie. Found a special item that I couldn't find online

Lovely place for a mooch, a cuppa and a cake. There's a spacious, contemporary cafe that serves light bites, lunches as well as cakes served on just the dearest floral china. They make a really nice hot chocolate, and fantastic cakes. Did I say they have cake?? Great cake. The wait staff are attentive, professional, and friendly, happy to help when needed, really great service. The garden centre itself has several sections and while it may be a bit of a squeeze for an EPIOC, we found it possible to have a good look at everything while using a wheelchair. Accessible parking and toilets are top notch. It's October as I write this and when I visited today they had their Christmas shop open (I think normally they have large lounge furniture and awnings in there). Ohh, the staff have clearly put a lot of effort in. It's like Santa's grotto inside. Everything is displayed so you can browse by colorway but they've built it up in layers to create a really festive feel. A lot of time was obviously taken to hang all the ornaments and set it all out nicely and they've done a great job. They actually have a Santa's breakfast or something type thing you can bring your kids to, and i can see why. They've really worked hard to create a magical space. My mum and I squeeed more than once. The items are a great range from affordable little trinkets up to large heirloom pieces, and they have some really very unique decorations if you're looking for something a bit different. The garden centre staff were helpful and sweet and the whole place had a generally nice atmosphere. We spent hours there, drinking coffee and mooching, we also bought several items. And yet we still only saw half of what they have there. At the back there's a fish selling place? I don't own fish so i know nothing about it except in the past on previous visits I've enjoyed looking round at the fish they sell, the displays they have set up are quite cool, if you like fish. They have a great range of large planters, barrel plant pots, garden patio feature stones, an entire section devoted to all things garden birds. Seeds, feeders, bird baths, all that.If you like garden centres, then I highly recommend it. I saw people with their kids, their partner, friends, elderly parents, and we were all happily mooching and munching away. Today it was warm and sunny but even in a grey wet day you can still have a great time there. On site parking, smoking and dogs allowed in the outside cafe.(Oh almost forgot the best part! The cat! Heh this big fluffy black and white tuxedo long haired beastie who looks ancient and sleeps in puddles but is clearly well loved going by all the fresh bowls of food staff leave out. Very old and rough around the edges, but a sweet kitty who appreciates a head scritch while having your coffee.

I phoned 7 garden centres before I came upon the very helpful Ethan who although I was a little far away to help with delivery was able to put me in touch with a contact who is picking up my order and delivering to me on Sunday as well as sorting out my green pond. Happy days!

Love this garden centre.Been coming for a great many years and it gets better and better. Some things can be a little more expensive but you really do get what you pay for.Plants are well looked after and well watered and not dying like you see in many placesLots of variety of bedding plants at this time of year.Everywhere is clean and tidy and well maintainedYou can buy garden ornaments or lights. There is a lovely supply of fish for indoor and outdoor.Staff are really friendly and helpful if you need help. They are knowledgeable and give good useful adviceThey sell many other things for your garden and also have a coffee place adjacent to them. With a small free car park also. All in all I would highly recommend this garden centre.
