We went for my husband's birthday. Our server Hubzy was brilliant. Very friendly, knowledgeable. She's lovely. You can tell she loves her job. My husband's sirloin steak was fatty immediately Hubzy got it replaced without any problem.

Attended for Lunch on New years eve and restaurant was full, found staff to be run off their feet but allows had a smile. Our server Luke was very busy but service was superb. Food was well cooked and hot. Would recommend a visit if you haven't been there.

Place was nice and staff were good. Food was awful. I had prawn cocktail to start with which was tasteless. Mains had fried chicken burger as other not available dreadful my partner had 10 oz ribeye which looked like half was missing asked if it was the right one they said it was so went with it at £30 a complete rip off. Will not eat there again.

Food was OK, not what I was used to but the service was made amazing by our server who's name was Moira. I would visit everyday just to be in her company!!

We visited here twice because our first time was really good. Our first visit was in November. Despite it being very busy, the staff that served us were really pleasant and friendly. We ordered the CÔTE DE BOEUF 28OZ which cost £64.95! to share between the two of us. The steak came and looked really nice, it was cooked perfectly to our liking which is good for the size of the steak. The steak tasted great and the meat was nice and succulent. As we had a good experience with the food on the first visit, we visited again in December as our Christmas treat meal to each other. My wife ordered the 50 day aged Rump (medium) and i ordered the 16oz Ribeye (medium rare) The ribeye arrived and it looked great. A really good size and good thickness to the steak. However, when i cut into the steak it was rare to raw throughout. I could tell it was under cooked as soon as i pressed on the meat and then cut into it. The wife's medium steak came undercooked too but not as rare as my ribeye. We tried to get a member of staffs attention for nearly 10 minutes but gave up. They were busy, but obviously once your food has been given to you, there was no checking up on you to see if everything was ok. Luckily i can eat rare steak at a push, but it's not the point, and certainly not a ribeye rare. When i'm paying £35.95 for a steak i expect it to be cooked to how i asked and taste amazing from this brand. After all they got a larger steak cooked perfectly the first time. Rare ribeye means all that fat marbling isn't cooked enough and tastes and feels horrible for me when eating. We did inform the wait staff when we asked for the bill, but i don't think they actually cared to much to raise the issue, like they couldn't be bothered to do something about maintaining some standards about the food. We ended up leaving all the undercooked parts of the steak, and that was pretty obvious when you looked at our plates. Will i visit again? Honestly, i was looking forward to another visit as it's our Birthdays in the new year, but at present, i'll be passing this one for now, as i don't want to be wasting another £70 on a meal that i should enjoy but get let down again.

A post Christmas family meal for eight. The food was delicious and all the party commented on how much they enjoyed their steaks in particular. Service was excellent, the staff are friendly and welcoming. A special mention and thank you for Matt P who looked after us so well!

Attended the 20th December for mine and my partners 5th anniversary, fabulous food and fabulous service. Matt P was super friendly and funny and couldn't do enough for us. We've both worked in hospitality before so we know what it's like to work in December in a restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening ?

Lovely location for a Christmas Meal . Festive lunchtime meal For 6 . We waited what seemed to be forever for the drinks order . An hour for the first course , another hour for the second course , one meal having to be returned , Turkey Dinners arrived with either pigs in blanket or stuffing missing , al dente we don’t mind , but some veg came out raw and cold . Carol , our waitress couldn’t do enough for us and was so apologetic, but this was not her fault . The manager finally conceded and did deduct the desserts and a main meal from our final bill . They need more staff on at the busiest time of the year . We will return but not Christmas time .

We booked in at the Miller & Carter for a family birthday. Service was excellent, with the young staff clearly having been well trained by experienced hospitality veterans: Attentive but not invasive. The food was excellent: there were too many of us to list everyone's individual dishes, but my steak was fabulous. Miller & Carter specialise in their steaks, and it's a reputation that stands up to scrutiny. Everything was hot, served simultaneously, and delicious. They certainly seem to be switched on at this venue, and I am sure the quality extends to other Miller & Carter establishments. Very impressed, and ideal for a special occasion - with lovely views over Powell's Pool in Sutton Park. The venue was warm and cosy on a rainy afternoon, and the only thing I can think of that might need improving is that the low-level lighting was not conducive to my elderly mum & aunt being able to read the menu (smartphone torches needed to briefly come out for that!) A thoughtful touch was the "Happy Birthday" message in hand-drawn chocolate for the birthday girls. A good experience, and worthy of a return visit for the next occasion.

We arrived for my birthday lunch 10 minutes early to a very busy restaurant. Received warm welcome. We asked if we had time for a quick drink in the warm & welcoming bar first. We were told yes, and if we could wait about 20 mins they would be able to give us a window seat. Result! We were thrilled that Emma was our waitress (she'd looked after us previously) who greeted us with her usual cheery personality. Starters were swift to arrive & were delicious. We then had a very long wait for mains, which we weren't too concerned with as were not in a hurry Emma appeared to say sorry for the wait, she had informed the kitchen how long we had been waiting and, without us commenting, said our round of drinks would be removed off the bill. That's great customer service. We cannot fault the food. Even though we didn't order dessert, I still got a 'Happy Birthday' plate with a little ice cream & lit candle. Nice touch. The atmosphere was lovely in the warm restaurant. Thanks to all, especially the fabulous Emma.

A group of 5 ladies had lunch and we all enjoyed the meal and great customer service from Hubzy and Matt. The steak was cooked to perfection and ensured that none of us had any food allergies (very impressed). No complaints at all and both members of staff made us feel welcomed and very polite. Will return
