I went in at lunchtime today with my partner to have a quick bite. We were served by a lovely young lady called Ellen, who has always served us with a smile and a happy demeanour, which lacks in society nowadays. Ellen is a definite rising star within the pizza express chain. Once again thank you for your hospitality.

As regular visitors we always look forward to being looked after by waitress Ellen who is very friendly and welcoming. Service by Ellen is always attentive and efficient. We were particularly impressed that she remembered our drink and dietry preferences from previous visits. She always welcomes us with a wave hello and a warm smile.Food always enjoyable and worth trying the pizzas with the different oils they offer. Garlic and chilli oils very tasty! ? Good vegan selection of starters and mains.Always very clean and tidy with nice table layouts and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Went for a family meal yesterday. Our waitress was very helpful. That and the setting are the only things which are any good. As for the food. It was terrible. The pizza bases are tougher than the boxes they are put in for takeaway. My son had a pasta dish which he has been unwell all last night and today from. My wife couldn't even force herself to eat either of the prawns or chicken she ordered. Don't like to make an issue when eating out but after contemplation this meal I can't leave such awful food lie.

We felt the need to complain last night about our pizza’s which hardly had any topping. The ‘burnt end’ especially was shocking with 2 tiny pieces of beef. We complained to our waiter who responded with “I hear you”. The Calzone was terrible & looked more like a pancake. The bill came to £75 with no offer of resolve. We won’t be returning which is a shame as it was a great restaurant not so long ago. Awful atmosphere, no music & the gents toilet out of use.
I can't believe how this restaurant had deteriorated. A few years ago there was a vibrant atmosphere, unlike my last visit. Poor food. I won't return.

We had my daughter's birthday party here today. We all had a wonderful time making and then eating our pizzas. We were so well looked after and Ellen who was our party host was wonderful. She looked after everyone so well and made the party so easy and stress free for me! Would highly recommend for parties.
