Been coming to Shimla every few months for decades. Definitely one of the best old school indian restaurants in Sutton Coldfield. Great food and lovely service. 10/10

Went there with 10 guests following day all of us got food poisoning. To get your table clear you had to wait because not enough staff. All the food did taste disgusting, it was old.

All I can say is that I have walked past this place for 7 years and it is my father's 80 birthday and all I wanted was for after was a beautiful quality meal and the menu I opened the door and. 1people's attached was to atac a person who has had cancer I believe in the black eye peas where is the love ❤️ ? ?

Poor value takeaway. Only Indian takeaway that does not give discount on menu for takeaway customers. Also no complimentary popadoms.

Great meal with friends. Authentic restaurant with very kind and polite staff. They were great at recommending dishes for us. The mushroom nan was really nice.

The curry was overpriced and the food was not nice I would not recommend this to anyone the guy tried to overcharge me when I got there to pay for the food which is absolutely massively overpriced

The food in here is delicious! Cooked to order as I’ve ordered different curries on different occasions milder than on the menu and they’ve done this for me no problem. The service in terms of bringing food out is a bit slower but it’s to be expected to be when cooking such delicious food. Our 2 year old daughter enjoys the food in here too.Kid-friendliness: The first time we went they didn’t have a high chair but said they’d get one for the next time. Next time we went they had a high chair.

This place is really good. The food is fabulous and it actually tastes like home cooked food. Recommend!! Staff is very friendly but it takes a bit of time for the food to arrive. Definitely worth the wait! The chicken korma is amazing!!

Wow! What an excellent family run place! Such a warm and lovely welcome from the owner Roj, couldn't have been welcomed better. On arrival offered drinks which we appreciated as was a very warm day. We were given ample amount of time to browse the menu which is jam packed full of delicious sounding items. Starters came out piping hot, the Nargis kebab is highly recommended along with the chicken tikka starter. Mains again came out piping hot and served to us as asked by Roj. Tikka Massala is highly recommend with a garlic nan! Drinks prices are more then reasonable and extensive drinks menu is available. Definitely cant recommend this place enough and will be back again!!

We jumped in here after having a a few drinks around the corner. It wasn't very busy, the staff were really friendly. They have a bar selling bottled beers, and made us some Irish coffees aswell. The food was nice and came put fairly fast.
