The venue has been done out really well, great places to sit and enjoy drinks and chats. Staff were friendly. Wine was nice though a but pricey. The food was a big let down. Partners food was cold and had to be warmed up. My meal came with no veg at all, so had meat and slaw, as didn’t want my meal going cold waiting for veg. A real let down. Will go back, just for drinks though.

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday with my family. The food was nice came out quickly and tasted good. The service was outstanding, our waitress was Maria. She really did give us the best service and went above and Beyond. I’ve never been at a restaurant where the waitress has made me feel so comfortable and cared for. We will be returning and hopefully have the same waitress again.Thank you Maria for making our evening!

Went for Sunday lunch and was very disappointed to say the least not much choice for vegetarian except for pasta mussels or fish and chips also vegetarian haggis service was slow and the added service charge is a joke it should be down to the individual have been here quite a few times so think it's now time to move on plus not enough parking spaces to accommodate the pub !!!

Overrated in as much as trying to be a gastropub but falling short. Steaks were toughest.
Maria our waitress immediately made us feel welcome, she was very helpful with questions and suggestions on the menu. Food was very good, hot and tasty and so much of it! Onion rings were the biggest and best!

Rather disappointed as initially shown to our table which was so small that four older adults could not comfortably sit. No doubt fine for a couple with small children. Very helpful staff member found better table for us. Food arrived on time but quality lacking. Four different menu items, but none enjoyed. Sadly conclusion is that we are unlikely to return.

First time here and loved it. We had a Sunday dinner and wasn’t disappointed. My missus ordered a wine and couldn’t drink it as the taste wasn’t pleasant but our waitress replaced her drink with no problem at all :-) will definitely be a returning customer. Just want to say that our waitress was Maria and was so lovely & thank u to her :-)
