Went for a family meal and drinks. Food was lovely. Something for all of us. Great offers. Staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

i had a lovely experience here with my friends for dinner , every staff was polite and food came within a good amount of time, the waitress who brought our food was a young northern girl and she was so nice extra thankyous to her . will definetely be returning!

Visited with 9 other family members for a 90th birthday and the whole party felt that the food, service and environment were excellent. Superb value for money and decent meals for everyone. Will definitely be visiting again.

Xmas Day Meal.Our table was booked for 2pm we were sitted at 135pm.The waitress took our drinks order but we didn’t receive it til 2.20pm it was quicker going up the barAll of the tables around us had tucked into there starters and main course.We asked on a number of occasions where ours were. Starters weren’t delivered til 230pm. OMG they were disgusting ! Duo of Chicken that consisted of 2 Chicken Strips 2 massive slabs of pate. It was disgusting! The best bit of the starter was the salad !We kept chasing for main course and were told yes 10 minutes.It never happened. I’m sure our table was just forgotten about by the kitchenWe got the main course at 345pm.When we booked this meal I told the pub no cauliflower cheese for my Husband dinner. Our plates came and two of the roast turkey meals didn’t have cauliflower cheese!My Sirloin steak contained loads of fat and grisle. I hardly touched it.I had leg surgery 3 weeks ago and sitting around in my cast waiting for our Xmas meal which should have been served at 2pm was terrible.we told them to forget serving the dessert as we needed to see my mother in law in the care home.They gave us some money off the bill but it’s not the point.14 people were at this table waiting for their Xmas dinner we were just forgotten !Paid over £250 for 4 people on Xmas day never again !Food was terribleService was Awful

Terrible food and service on Xmas Day Xmas Day Meal. Duo of Chicken that consisted of 2 Chicken Strips 2 massive slabs of pate. It was disgusting! The best bit of the starter was the salad ! They were discussing consisting of 2 chicken strips coated in chilli sauce and large slabs of pate which looked like the dogs doings ! We kept chasing for main course and were told yes 10 minutes. It never happened. We got the main course until 345pm. On our main course order I asked that no cauliflower cheese was placed on my husbands plate but to adad peas. The plates came consisting of no cauliflower cheese and no peas ! My Sirloin steak contained loads of fat and grisle I left it ! I had leg surgery 3 weeks ago and in a cast and the waiting for food was terrible. By 4.00pm no desert came so we told them we had to leave and told them to keep their puddings! 14 people were at this table waiting for their Xmas dinner we were just forgotten ! Paid over £250 for 4 people on Xmas day never again ! Food was terrible Service was Awful

Came for steak meal ordered on a normal plate not a sizzler .. food came paid extra for mushrooms there was about two !!! Steak was tough as old boots and full of grissle and also cold!!! Came out on a sizzler but I can only assume it had been sitting in the kitchen for over ten minutes as it wasn’t suzzling it was almost cold!!

The chips weren't hot and to be honest looked like they were someone else's old chips, they were off colour and I wish I didn't eat them now. The onion rings were hot but also soft like they were cooked in the microwave. I should have took a photo of it and to be honest I should have sent them back rather than eating them.Vegetarian options: Veggie choices were Mac n Cheese or a veggie flat bread. I had the veggie flat bread and it wasn't exactly a full meal. The veggies didn't seem fresh and it was covered in tonnes of peri sauce.They also have a Beyond Burger.

Great venue to meet up with the family, lovely well cooked, great value food. Served with a smile. Good selection of beers and wines to accommodate anyone's tastes. Plus, you can watch a game when it matters.

I went with my husband and a group for our Christmas lunch . There were thirty four of us so a lot to cater for . We had a great time . The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was hot and nicely presented , and the tables were beautifully decorated . Julie looked after us and got the food out quickly to all of us .l would certainly recommend the White Horse pub , because we were truly looked after and listening to the comments from other people they felt the same . So thank you Julie and your team.
