Bar • “The food here is actually really good, good value for money. The seating area is in definite need of a refurb. The floor is sticky, the chairs are stained and tables old. But saying that the team are really friendly and food was great.”

Bar • “My first time visiting since it changed from The Old Court House to Wetherspoons.It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and The Guinness was spot on, cold, tasty and only £3?Parking: There's no parking adjacent to the building but may be some paid parking a few minutes walk away.”
Bar • “We decided to go out for my husband birthday.Our local pub was first choice but the night before we pop in and the food was terribleSo we decided to go to the Dilke instead.The service was fabulous and all the staff were really chatty and friendly.We ordered our food at the table along with drinks,which were bought over swiftly.When the food arrived, it was nice and hot, and the portion size was a really good amount of food.After our table was cleared, I paid the bill, and we were all happy as we were about to leave. Tam called my husband back and gave him a box of sweets and a card for his birthday.What a fantastic touch to a great evening.Thanks to you all”
Bar • “Only gave 4 * for atmosphere as we went in at 10.30 am. It was for breakfast and a few celebratory drinks. Food was lovely some great ideas on breakfast menu. Loved the chicken in cornflakes ! .”
Bar • “Last time I came the experience wasn’t 10/10 but was definitely made up this time, I was sat on a table close to the bar and the lady who served us was wonderful. 5£ cocktails what a bargain the woman knew her stuff was even pushing us to drink which was lovely to hear!!! Keep that woman in the job definitely uplifted the night for us.Food wise we didn’t order too much as we just wanted to pick at food and it was lovely I do say myself.”
