Honestly could not have asked for more. Just had our Christmas Dinner and the food was great. The service was amazing and the staff so friendly. We had to make a change to our booking before hand just a week before the date due to unforseen circumstances and staff went above and beyond to help us and to meet our needs. We are so grateful to them all and especially Jasmine

Met up with friends, we 3 ordered Lansagne , 2 ordered other items .When the Lasagne came out looked hot and delicious until you started to eat it. The base of mince was burnt on all 3 , call the waitress explain to her about the Lasagne she then spoke to the manageress who came asked what up ,explained the food was burnt, she offered to exchange the food and a free sweet or coffee .because our other friends ere eating theirs we chose Scampi. Once finished the waitress asked if we like to order a sweet ,we told her we been offered a free sweet. The manageress came to the table and said she had not said that. Lets just say we wont be going back

Went today for our annual oap church Xmas dinner what a complete disaster. We arrived 12.30 for our 3 coarse meal there was no Christmas spirit at all no table covering or anything Christmas as elderly ladies we waited for over an hour for anyone to order drinks we we’re finally served our starters at 2.45 which prawns still had ice terrible the dinner was left also sprouts were frozen turkey was processed was awful pudding was so hard couldn’t even cut it with a knife can I say 5pm we were just leaving after 5 hours such a shame we should be reimbursed for 11 pensioners in their 80s was terrible we are owed an apologyMrs Hughes

Booked a table for our office Christmas meal, originally for 18 but ended up with just 10 - no problem when changing booking. Pre ordered our food and pre paid to make life easier. Servers were lovely and polite, they checked orders beforehand and all food was delivered correctly and hot! Great price and portion sizes were perfect. Thank you!

We were the only ones in there on a Monday night, so great service score but low atmosphere!

Went in for lunch: menus were out, tables were laid, but when we went to order we were told the kitchen was closed due to a gas leak. It would have been nice to be told this before buying a drink...

I'm really disappointed. Stated a cheese and onion pie but was more like mush inside it.Tried to complain about the food to the manager Jasmine. Didn't want to know because she said it was vegan.Asked her for a replacement meal but would not swap it. I had to pay for another meal despite leaving this horrible thing.Tried to negotiate, but she couldn't care less. I've been going there for years without issues. Spent a lot of money in that place to be treated like this.Awful!!

We arrived 5.15pm there wasn't anyone else in at this time, the waiter said you can sit anywhere you like however there was a lady by the name of Stacey who was behind the bar and she said you can only sit at table 3 or 5She came over quiet abruptThese tables are right by the bar which wasn't very private and felt you were being watchedThe heating could have been turned up it was quiet chilly in thereThe food was really nice, freshly cooked and hot with good selectionParking: No problem parking plenty of spacesWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is through the front door

We thoroughly enjoyed our Festive Christmas Meal Today at The Dilke Pub and Restaurant. There were nine of us over three generations including a toddler in a high chair. We had three courses for our Sunday Lunch and it was all brilliant.

Party of 11 pension aged people went for lunch at noon. We put in a freezing cold room at the front of the pub and very small heater put in there which didn’t do a lot. Waited ages for drinks as only 1 person doing bar, orders and serving. Food when it came was very mediocre, the worse meal I’ve ever had there.

Excellent service- Phoenix our waitress was lovely. Great food. Nice little gesture of chocolate orange for my daugters birthday. Would recommend 100% Will return even though 30 mins drive from where we live as well worth it!

Went to The Dilke Arms for a quiet lunch with a friend. Friendly, professional staff. Good value meals. The Dilke, which takes its name from a local aristocratic family, is a best-kept-secret which deserves more patronage. Around six minutes from the centre of Walsall by bus (nos. 6 & 7) there is a definite rural atmosphere.
