Our server Amelia was very friendly and polite. Was having a laugh and joke with us which we liked as a customer. Made us feel very welcome and enjoyed our experience. Food didn’t take too long and was spot on.

Came here with the family after a day out, we booked an hour before but it wasn’t busy so managed to get a table, had to wait a bit for it to be cleaned (was there any point in booking then?) but we finally got seated. Firstly we ordered drinks and I was a bit disappointed there must have been some confusion. We ordered Coke Zeros as these are refillable, then three cokes arrived but they were literally full of ice and barely any coke, two sips and they were empty, I then asked for the refill and was told they weren’t refillable because they where regular coke and if I wanted refillable ones I’d need to pay again. I said we’ve been given the wrong ones expecting some sort of good will gesture and just having them swapped for refillable but no had to buy again even though they made the mistake and by the way it’s nearly £4 for a glass of ice and a splash of coke. Apart from this every thing else was ok. The waitress was friendly the food tasted good, portion size is small and expensive but I expected that anyway. Just the whole rip off with the drinks got under my skin like it’s a glass of pop just swap it, it didn’t need to be made into an issue and could of easily been resolvedOverall I don’t think I’ll be going back soon out of principle, its expensive as it is without ripping us off on drinks

We booked a last minute date night and came here and we had a lovely time. The reviews i had previously read were a bit off putting but thought we’d give it a go and i’m so glad we did as the food was tasty and the service was great. Within an hour of us sitting down we had enjoyed two drinks each and our starters and mains. Our seating area was clean also. I’ve marked our review down a star for atmosphere only because at times we thought the music was too loud but we enjoyed the music too

Service took agesss even though it was quiet, I got my drink about 15 minutes before my friends got theirs. Food took 50+ minutes. When my meal came I was told there was no BBQ sauce (weren't told when ordering otherwise I'd have had something different), the waitress said do you want the Jack Daniels sauce instead, but when we got the bill they'd charged me for it! ? I said I assume that it's not supposed to be on there and the waitress said she'd check but then took my friends payments and asked me to pay the rest, did not check or take off the sauce. Couldn't be bothered to argue the point again and didn't want to seem like a crank. Obviously it wasn't about the money just the principle of being charged for something I didn't really want anyway, especially when the service had been really poor! Won't bother coming back, very overpriced for what it was.

No personal customer service skills .Whilst steaks were cooked according to order but they were too burnt on the outside leaving a grimy after taste.Food and service not aligned with the price. Sorry but I won't be coming back.

The short story: Food was left under the heat lamps for 18 minutes, arrived cold, however the manager (Adam) saved the day by great service, replaced cold food with hot food and a discounted bill (even when I asked to pay the full amount). The full story begins with my partner our two year old and myself being taken straight to our tables and greeted warmly. The restuarant was not full. We ordered food from the waitress after a slightly long wait. Maybe that was a sign of things to come. We then waited and waited and waited and waited but our food did not materialise. I need to stress the restuarant was not busy. After 10 minutes I started to watch the pass and our food had been sitting there under the lamps! The waitresses meandered around, but seemed to be busy doing other things. My partner began to grumble about her food just sitting there so pedant that I am I began the timer on my watch. The food finally reached us at with the food sitting under the heat lamps for 18 minutes. Unsurprisingly, the food was not hot and I asked for it to be replaced. Now this is where the story is saved by the manager Adam. He was quick to apologise and guaranteed the replaced food would be with us in 6 minutes. This was a bold claim so my trusty timer came out again. I didn't expect the food in 6 minutes, but you know what? It did! What's more Adam was gracious when he brought it over and then took the time to visit us another 2 times. At the end of the meal Adam discounted the bill, even after I told him I was happy to pay the full amount. All I can say was TGIs has a great manager here. Thank you Adam.

We had a brilliant meal at TGIs today. Our server, Matt, was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal which was also excellent value for money.
