Really good place for drinks and great food. Gio Italian food is amazing and the atmosphere is great even for parents with young kids. Highly recommended, also next to the canal so you can go for a nice walk.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for kids to run around, pet friendly too

very dissapointed this is my nearest pub and i feel it cant be used, the food and drink is overpriced conpared to other venues in walsall, and its freezing cold! being told to put a coat on is not what i expected to hear from a team member. its new owners but doesnt seem like anything has been done sinse the last lot to be honest

Just popped in to check out the pub since the new landlords.moced in a few weeks ago. Its lovely! It's really friendly, and relaxed... The log fire was burning so it was cosy and warm... Beer was good, didn't try the food, but will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast. Looking forward to the live entertainment on a Saturday, quiz nights on a Thursday and 'hopefully', an open mike night on a Monday!!! The atmosphere was friendly and chatty, just as a pub should be!
