Fantastic fresh breads. Cakes look amazing. Staff are always welcoming and really helpful. It's great having a bakery on your doorstep. Not many of these gems left. Give them your support.

Served completely burnt cobs. 4 whole bags all the same, had to go in the bin. The staff are very hit or miss. I was there just before Christmas and. Lady in the queue took Ill and only one member of staff helped her and they still had the audacity to ask for payment even though she was clearly ill. It was disturbing to witness and for that reason I won't be returning.

Never again. Deserved 0 stars but google forces me to give one. Rude and unprofessional, have puchased from here many times before but wont again. asked if i can get 6 Cobs as they only have packs of 12 bagged at the front. The elderly lady with the glasses said she has 6 already bagged from before as a woman changed her mind (now i know why she changed her mind). so she gave me these Cobs already bagged in a none see through white paper bag.. bear in mind the cobs are normally provided in a see through bag.. Opened at home and they are burnt and clearly completley inedible and rock hard. I went back to explain less than an hour after buying and the woman blatantly lied to my face saying she showed me before buying.. i think she got embarrassed infront of her other customers knowing she sold the cremated cobs and tried to hide it.. cobs worth less than a couple of pound but i returned due to principle and thought they may have made a mistake. I tried to explain they were never shown to .e and she just started flapping and lieing.. she refunded my money but couldnt accept the fact she didn't show me and asked me not to return. I will 100% never return and hope she enjoyed those burnt rock solid cobs for lunch!!! she said she has sold 100s.. the fact is some people may enjoy them burnt but most clearly dont and the pic clearly shows they are burnt so she should have asked me if im Okay with it..but she didnt and lied. Wont recommend to anyone

The fruit bun (tastes like hot cross bun) filled with jam and what I call pretend cream is amazing........Loved these for ages but haven't had one again till today.Still bang on.....if you haven't tried their stuff , then you should.They also make bread , cobs , cornish pasties , sausage rolls and other cakes.So help keep small shops like this going or they will disappear off our high streets for good.

Been a customer here for 15 to 20 years. Not impressed with the service from the young lady member of staff today. Bad attitude and refused to sort through the loose cobs to find darker ones, more or less insisting that we had to buy the 12 pack at the front of the shop.Never had such bad service here. Really upset the day with the attitude.

Wow, my partner brought me a cream doughnut, honestly it was amazing we cannot wait to come back and try more and especially now reading the reviews about the bread ??EDIT: So I went and brought and tryed the bread and sausage roll, I'm lost for words, absolutely beautiful! ? recommend staff are lovely and friendly too!!Thank you see you again
