I’ve visited a few times over the years for afternoon tea. The food is always so nice and staff are always so friendly!I’ve recently been for main menu and Sunday lunch and that was amazing too.

Went in yesterday for Sunday lunch there were lots of parties going on so quite busy we got a drink and sat down in the little bar area .Waited about 20 mins which wasn't 2 bad to be shown to our table we then waited another 15 mins and nobody came over to us to see if we wanted anything I had to ask if we could have a bread roll cos hubby starving there were no napkins on table to use .Our dinner came out lovely as usual we had the duck unfortunately we already had peas on our plate and when they bought the side veg out it also had peas on which seemed wasteful .We ate our dinner and then waited again nobody came over so we decided to pay and leave although we were going to have a pudding but time was getting on .

Best of the best!Incredible food, lovely staff, warm atmosphere. I've made ye olde toll house the place for family special occasions now. I love it. Highly reccomend ?

Afternoon tea with my sister's for our Birthday, very disappointing offerings. Scones were not even home made. Food was below average - not worth the money.

Came here not expecting much but left amazed by how good the food was. Service was excellent, the place has a nice family feel to it and the food is a highlight. The fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. The carbonara one of the best around. Will definitely be back here to try more of the food and the whole menu looks and sounds delicious. Highly recommend to come here for food and excellent service.

Very good food. Nice quiet and friendly environment. Slightly pricey, but for the quality and portions definitely worth the money.

Atmosphere good and food was excellent.Would suggesttwo improvements that doesn't detract from the overall excellent dining experience in that there is enough staff to get drinks served during the meal and to ensure that the pump for the draught beer works.Also the bar area needs an upgrade.I emphasise these are only suggestions.
