Got so called large donar meat and chips. The amount of donar given in the box was a joke. Chips were good. One thing I noticed is that this place has many customers aged 50+. Maybe they cannot drive to better options. Avoid this place, the portions sizes for the cost are offensive. You have been warned.

It's been a while since I have been there 12 months easy.....well it's going to be even longer next time chips were horrible and at over £5 I feel I have been robbed after eating them or what I could they were dry and hard looked to me to be left overs from the evening before ( purchased 2pm on a Saturday) I would say that there are new management as the old owners would never have served what I had......I did rate newbridge as the best not no more Pennfields chippy is now the best in my eyes by a country mile so don't waste your money at newbridge chippy

Had a vegan pie, wanted a simple pie and chips but wasn't allowed, HAD to have meal deal, the food was sparce, pie overcooked and disgusting, won't be having it again, very disappointed as I usually enjoy the chips from here, mushy peas foul suggest just sticking to plain chips as they are all that seems to be any goodVegetarian options: Don't bother stick to just chips

Terrible food. Ordered a regular cod and chips. Got home and it was all batter, absolutely no fish. Its like they sliced the fillet in three's it was so flat. I even zoomed in with my camera to find it it was that bad. Please don't waste your money here.

We ordered today thinking yum yum haven’t had a new bridge chippy for a quite some time now, and I can say dissatisfaction is an understatement! Absolutely disgusting, vile lamb meat that looks like it’s been cut off the moon (craters) with 12 soggy looking scratchings (sorry chips) freezing cold might I just add, that’s being polite, food quality/quantity is not at all what it use to be! Just to add the Irish curry sauce was lovely, shame there was nothing to dip in it!! They tried to blame Uber and I had to point out Uber did not serve up the food, and we watched the driver arrive on the app and come to us. So no it was not Uber!!! The manager said he’s been serving the same quality food for the past 2 years quite proudly! Clearly he has not read the Google reviews! I will not be ordering from here again!

We had a charity event and the Island House at Newbridge did a great job with our fish and chip supper, the staff were accommodating and helpful . Even with numerous changes with a large event they were good at communication and with over 74 meals, all correct and a good temp erasure and everyone seemed to enjoy thoroughly. I thank everyone for helping us provide a nice supper for our event . Well done Newbridge Chippy
