We have waited 45min for 3 burgers , and the 3 meats were BURNT. We ate them because we were too hungry , what a mistake. Last time eating

I was sickened by the frontal appearance of the hotel each time I walk in and out. Trash, cigarette butts, spills are always present. It is so dirty. The lack of enforcement of litterers, smokers, and irresponsible dog owners is appalling. Broken, or non working fixtures in the rooms (I've stayed in several of them). Rude staff, not very friendly at all, often unavailable, leaving you waiting at the bar, or to order food. When they finally show up, they have this attitude look on their face. This hotel took an extra couple of debits out of our accounts and they never fixed it when we asked, and never refunded. Heads up. I honestly will rate this hotel, a 2 out of 5.

Cold staff, unfriendly not well coming. Lots of garbage in the parking lot, leaves everyhere need to be picked up. You still owe my a refund, for something I didn't get, we asked and asked but didn't get anywhere. It was very upsetting

Has had some poor reviews but our room was fine , clean, good size and couldn’t complain. Breakfast was varied and reasonable quality. Staff helpful and friendly. Location suitable for town centre, bus and train. Would stay again.

there air con for customers who booked a room on the second floor was awful. You could smell the toilet sh@t flowing from each room. and even when you open the windows the air was absolutely awful!! I wanted to puke several times. I paid to stay there for 3 nights and this is what I get in customer service. absolutely treadful!!

Where do I start??? The only positive thing I can say is that I did not have to pay as I was on 2 day training course with my company so stayed overnight, and I'm glad it was just 1 night. Stayed over on 14th September 2023. Firstly, my room had blood stains on the carpets. Fridge in the room does not work. The safe in the room does not work neither. Company paid for the dinner package, but in the end ended up going out to Nandos as there was only one waitress on the shift and the chef apparently had 20 tickets before us (there were 6 of us in te group), so waitress never got round to even taking our orders. One of my colleagues was lactose intolerant and needed gluten free, but the only option available was pasta and tomatoe sauce??!! Next morning we thankfully got our refund back for the prepaid dinner. Waitress kept huffing and puffing about everything. Just rude. Breakfast the next morning was OK, but again only one person on the shift who was really rude. Anytime you asked him anything he kept rolling his eyes and kept huffing and puffing! If you hate your job that much, think it's time to leave. Avoid Novotel, Wolverhampton unless you like being treated like dirt.

The exterior of the hotel and car park would put you off (very scruffy, lots of rubbish) but inside is lovely. My room was clean and comfortable (although the pillows could do with better cleaning - the pillowcases were very clean but I happened to see inside the pillowcase the next morning and wanted to re-think my choice to sleep on them!). The bed was comfortable, air con worked well, the bathroom was clean, and lovely Rituals toiletries are provided. I think the only thing that let the place down was the staff. This hasn’t been been my experience previously, here or at other properties, but on check in, the woman was totally disinterested, it was like I was taking up her time for no reason (it was just a simple check in, I had paid in advance, so not causing any issues) and on check out, I don’t think I would have been spoken to if I hadn’t spoken first. I don’t expect to be fawned over, but a simple and cheery hello or goodbye makes all the difference.

Arrived early and hoped that we could leave our luggage there, but it was even better than that, they allowed us to check in early. Room even though it faced the busy ring road was incredibly quite. As to be expected it was clean with all the facilities you could require. Car parking was excellent considering how close it is to the centre of the town and was open to all visitors. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to choose from and of a good quality. It’s got to be one of the best hotels in Wolverhampton.

As a regular, the hotel has had some great upgrades, Rooms refreshed, AC dedicated to room not centrally controlled. Staff are great, attentive when needed yet relaxed and very welcoming. Restaurant, great breakfast and dinner menu small choice yet something for everyone including the normal staples.

Great service at all areas especially the bar/reception...all very helpful and nothing was too much. Great value for even an executive room which was spacious and had the essentials you need. Great location Great value a really good place to stay in wolves.

Use this hotel most weeks due to easy access to the office However I see the menu has been changed Listening around all saying the same as me Not impressed by choice Tried to over compicate a menu by the looks of it Or maybe more for ease for the hotel However my feedback big mistake Tomorrow night I will be leaving the hotel to eat and drink due to the poor choice Nd struggling to choose a 1st evening meal let alone the second night and the pricing for what is served is shocking also oh well

Elderly relative of mine went to stay last month for a wedding. Upon checking into the room, she found: - Toilet was not flushing - Electricity fault whilst she was in the room using the amenities She reported this to reception during her stay, and nothing was resolved, but they insisted she email the duty manager with her complaints. I then emailed the duty manager asking for some compensation as the one night stay ended up rather stressful for my elderly relative, who was travelling on her own. The duty manager replied to my email and ran some due diligence, asking various questions and said that she needed to 'investigate internally' she asked that she get back to me in a few days, which i agreed. 4 days went by and no reply, so i followed up. The duty manager replied and this time asked me the same kind of questions - clearly no internal investigation had been done, then quickly concluded that no compensation will be given. It could have been resolved all very easily and quickly, however the hotel failed to provide a basic level of care for an elderly person, travelling on their own. I would have expected to see a % of compensation - especially when these days parting with hard earned money but receiving appalling service. This review probably wont make a difference to the people wanting to go and stay there, but my point is to call out this hotel staff and duty manager for their lack of empathy.
