Oriental take away. Delivery received on time but some of order missing so I phoned and told them. Lady who answered said she’d ask the driver to return when he came back to the shop. I asked when she this might be but she seemed to think that this was a daft question. I explained that the rest of the food was going cold - she wasn’t bothered. Rest of order eventually turned up about 40 minutes later along with a phone call from the owner telling me that if I didn’t like the service then I should go elsewhere - advice I will follow. Avoid!

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered tonight and was told it would be delivered in 45 mins. 30 mins after it should’ve been delivered, we called to check how long it was going to be and were told in 5 mins. In total, we waited for 1.5 hours and the food was stone cold when it arrived. Avoid for delivery.

*Warning* heads up they now appear to be adding a service charge to all bills. Being going here for almost 20 years but last night was our last time. Prices have gone up which we understand but adding a service charge is taking the Michael. Lost a longstanding customer for being greedy.

My family ordered a vegetarian take away and 1 fish dish (all but 1 of us is vegetarian). We had put all the food in our plates and realised they had give us a beef curry instead of a veg curry (we couldn’t tell at the time as it was covered in curry sauce). One of the family members went to ask for a refund for the whole takeaway as we had mixed the food in our plates, meaning would couldn’t eat it (photographs were taken) (we are a Hindu family and do not eat beef). He was told by the lady when he asked for a refund that he was very rude for asking, and the man who came out referenced his intellect if we couldn’t tell the difference when putting it on our plates. No apologies were given, instead they said he can have a partial refund, but they would never serve him again. Is this how you treat your customers when you have made a mistake??!! Shocking, given that we have used them for 14 years….a sincere apology would solved the matter.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I have been going here since I was 5 years of age. (39 years ). I never thought I would end up writing a bad review. Taken money for food that was not delivered at all. Nothing offered when I called to complain. I will not recommend this place to anyone no more. Shame as I know of an awful lot of people who have gone here because of me. So please take this as genuine as I actually learned from the previous owners how to actually learn how to use chop sticks.great people. Shame they are no longer the owners. As these people do not care about customer service at all. They are living of the backs of the previous owners that for sure.

First time visiting tonight for my uncles 60th birthday and it was fantastic. We had the set menu and there was so much food and every dish was delicious! The service was fantastic, the staff are lovely and friendly and our every need was catered for. I cant wait to visit again soon.

Had our first takeaway from here yesterday. Amazing food. Meat dishes were proper meat dishes and not just stuffed full of chunky vegetables; very pleased. All dishes were fresh, succulent and super tasty.Pork Yuk Sung was amazing.

Had a takeaway from House of Canton on Saturday evening - had duck in Thai chilli and coconut sauce with oriental special rice on the side. We really enjoyed the food and will definitely have another takeaway from there next time we are in the area. It was a good price, tasty food and it was ready for collection in 15 minutes. Recommended.
