Khoya Barfi is probably the best I've tasted, the Ras Malai was solid, it's supposed to be fluffy....

I have been coming here since I lived in Leicester st round the corner. That was 1981. More than 40 years.I have seen this place grow from a small shop to a nice restaurant.I have always been treated with respect by the original people but that has all changed. There's always that one individual that has to spoil it.A woman working behind the sweet counter whom I suppose is a daughter has an attitude problem. From her demeanour it is clear she is superior to most people especially me. She can't take a joke, and I believe doesn't like me speaking to her in Punjabi ..maybe I keep an open mind but it his clear from her revaya that I am beneath her which is not a good stance in trying to promote the business.Yesterday I ordered pakoras and samosas but some of them of them I wanted warming up so it meant splitting the 2 bags and this was a problem for her, a little extra work,an extra 30 seconds. There wasn't many people in the queue so I wondered why she was pulling a face. The usual guy (one of the sons) always called me uncle and likes to chat and has no problem warming up a samosa for me. But yesterday it was a problem and she's snapping at me which I pointed out to her. She didn't like me reminding her that I'm a customer and entitled to a little bit more respect than she was prepared to give.Indians from Punjabi are known for their respect for elderly people but this woman really let the side down. She became abusive and I wouldnt take it so others behind the counter joined in in the abuse and I told these ignorant people who were not aware of the facts to shut up and mind their own business. I left without my order and next time I pass and see the oldest son (retired )I'll tell him what happened, I know he wont be happy and will apologise . I feel sorry for those who have worked so hard to build this business over the years to see it ruined by freshie upstarts.

Travelled from Telford for the first time to pick up some snacks for a family get together. Bought onion bhaji, lamb spring rolls, lamb samosa, veg samosa, fish pakora, chicken pakora, seekh kebab and chicken tikka. Everyone said that the lamb samosas were the best they've ever had. The seekh kebab and chicken tikka were really tasty. I didn't find any of the food greasy or dry. Loved it all and will definitely come again.

Me being a lover of Indian food had this place pointed out to me by a workmate. He was saying how good the samosa”s were, so on my way back to Stafford from wolves hospital I decided to drop in to pick some up, and WOW what an amazing place, as soon as you open the door the the beautiful smell of the food kicks your taste buds off. I found the staff very helpful and accommodating, I was like a kid in a sweet shop. So much choice and it looked beautiful. The samosa”s were amazing and I intend to go back time after time until I’ve sampled almost everything they have. I really can’t see why people give this place a negative review. But saying that I feel that it could be a little bitter payback from certain quarters.

This place has gone downhill. Not sure if new owners but the food is now terrible. The spring rolls were 90% pastry with hardly any filling. I had a crunch on a stone in the samosas and the paneer pakore were no taste, why they had potatoes filling when it should be chutney I have no idea. All the food was so oily the bag was soaking when I got home. The laddo were hard and chewy aswell. This place used to be the best in Wolverhampton, now its a no go.

Have been coming here since the summer and I can honestly say they do some amazing Samosa's that are always full of flavours and rather large for what you pay well worth a visit!

My and my wife have gone to this shop few times. What we experienced each time that the lady as well as the gent serving were rude or simply they don't know how to talk with a customer! It could also be the sales are going through their heads and they don't bother about the customers. We now keep ourselves off this shop. Food are generally alright but not so great.

My family has been coming here for 3 generations and I continue to visit every time I'm in the area - excellent homemade food that's very reasonably priced! I grew up having family gatherings at my grandmother's house with samosas, pakoras, sweets, and curries from here
