Just want to say if you are going in for breakfast you need to be prepared to wait 30 minutes to get your food it's very surprising as it's buffet style we had to wait this long. Felt sorry for the elderly and diabetics who were patiently waiting also the young children. Quite bizarre there was no member of staff in the restaurant but must say lovely girl names Sarah behind bar who was very helpful.

Took my sister for her 70th birthday lunch. The carvery in general was lovely But would have loved more than half a slice of meat. My god quality has gone down badly. Choice of veg very very limited. Staff not very friendly at all. Staff training needs serious looking at

This was the first time eating out with my partner since covid and it ws my birthday.We had bokoed a table, once inside there ws no one to greet us to take use to the table. The waitress turned up and said just find yourself a table it's pretty quiet...NO WONDER! We got drinks, mine was a warm pasionfruit martini as there was no ice. We ordered the large carvery where I was given what I could only say a quarter of a slice of beef. The mashed potato was so dry that you couldn't move the spoon in it and had to ask for more. The meat looked dry and had been sitting there for ages. To my horror my meat was weighed on the scales before having veg. Flies were on the meat at the carvery.When we got to the table I spoke to the receptionist who called the manageress, who in turn apologised.The roast potatoes were still hard inside. We were going to have pudding but after the disasterous main course I certainly was not going to spend another penny here.

Staff were friendly and energetic, couldn’t say same about the food, meat was lifeless on the counter. Found a few small bones from the close shaving of the turkey meat, sorta put me off the food hence the 4 stars. Meat was a bit dry too, don’t reckon it was fresh. But overall experience is good, will try again ^^

The staff are all really friendly and welcoming and the decor for fathers day is nice. I come in often but this time I noticed a balloon arch put in which I think add more to the look of the pub. Very pleased

Ordered 2 carveries sorry but they were cold ,asked if they could be warmed was told no because our microwave is industrial ( ok don’t put it for so long no problem) but told no ,offered another meal but had to wait 10 minutes for fresh vegetables,but still same meats on there which were like rubber,sorry won’t be going back any time soon
