- was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable by the owner and her friend when coming into this pub with my boyfriend and my brother in law. it’s a shame that they let personal vendettas get in the way of basic human morals, and basic human kindness, as all we did was try to remind them of being kind to others & basic human empathy, however they did not seem to understand.

Used to come in here a a lot and loved the Barman Tom. Unfortunately the owner Emma and her side kick isn’t as hospitable. After casually discussing my opinion of enjoying the band Mcfly instead of busted I was told 4 times to “get out of pub”.I feel very sorry for these two women they are obviously apocalyptically cross with the fact that life didn’t pan out the way they want it to, and judging by the fact that there was 3 people in the establishment that wasn’t members of the staff they aren’t exactly raking it in. Furthermore I think your idiotically hypocrisy your intellectual vacuity and your arrogance don’t bother me as much as the fact that you’ve turned that beautifully historical building into a 2 women hen night that won’t actually ever happen.

Came into Wolves from Brum for the afternoon..stopped in here for a pint on way back to the station. It's awesome and if it was closer to me I'd spend a LOT of time here. Beautiful pub, reasonably priced drinks and great staff

An historic pub in the city centre, with original tiled exterior and on the walls and floor of the interior. This pub is well worth a visit, with a warm and friendly welcome, serving well kept real ales and offering a discount to card carrying CAMRA members. There is a retro juke box in the bar, and would recommend to seek out the beer garden at the rear, if the weather is nice.

Not a bad place, sort of like stepping out of a time machine into a 1960s pub... except for the prices, which are a trifle high. A decent atmosphere though, certainly a likable pub.
