We've passed The Lamb on numerous occasions when we have been done to the coast but never had the opportunity to stop until last week. What a treat. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely fabulous, from the parsnip soup to the Creme Brûlée. We will definitely make sure we factor a stop there into our coastal visits from now on.

When we arrived there was only one other table occupied, but the service was slow. It slowed down even more as things got busier. The problem seemed to stem from the kitchen and the bar rather than the waitresses. Having waited 45 minutes for my meal I was very disappointed. The turkey was very dry and the potatoes and other items were lukewarm warm. Had I not been someone’s guest I would have returned my meal. The other members of our party said that their meals were ok, not exceptional. Desserts were better, but we waited for a dessert menu and again for them to be served Had I been marking for myself I would have marked a 2 but my companions enjoyed their choices, though not the wait. Hence a 3.

Ahhh wow, the food was absolutely delicious indeed, and well, the customer service was excellent, too.I visited earlier today with family and friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed our amazing Sunday roast lunch.It's the first time I've ever been here, and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Absolutely brilliant!!! ??So I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone out there, especially if you're looking for somewhere nice with a lovely atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff and fantastic food. We will be back at some point in the future, and all looking forward to it, too!!!! ??
Excellent Sunday roast experience. We booked in advance and requested a high chair which was already at the table when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roast wasn't as plentiful as you might get from a carvery style pub but was still fairly substantial nonetheless and high quality. It's on the pricier side but you can see and taste where the money goes. Would definitely be happy to return.

Amazing! I got the fillet of beef to treat myself and it was phenomenal, I couldn’t help but share it out! I just wish there was more of it- the jus was amazing- this was easily the best bit of meat I’ve had this year! My friends all got some parmesan truffle fries and were happy to have them alongside their drinks The staff are so accommodating and warm/ welcoming I had the most wholesome discussions- absolutely full of joy. Couldn’t recommend a pub more!

The food was excellent ?, I would recommend the sirloin stake, I have mine rare, and this was cooked to perfection. The staff are lovely and friendly. We will definitely be going back soon.Nearby activities: Lovely village location.
