Fish and chips were freshly cooked, very tasty. Portions are very generous and customer service was excellent.

Food was ok but the service was dreadful. I waited nearly 20 mins for a battered sausage and chips that was ready the whole time (there were many ready in the hot cabinet) I don’t know what, if any system they use but making someone with a simple order, wait for those who need fish cooking fresh (which seems to be the system) is crazy if you ask me. I want to support local businesses but sadly I won’t be back because I’m not waiting that long again for such a simple meal.

Stop....listen, the photos do not do this place justice!!Cod was massive!!! Everything is fresh!!We also had cod roe cooked perfectly and batter on sausage was crispy!! Fishcake was the only let down...not on taste just a little on the small side!! Back there tonight!!!

Food awful, asked for oap fish and chips, sent them into panick.We went given the nice looking fish already cooked. Instead a lad came from back of shop with 2 very small looking pieces and over cooked them and full of grease. Chips small portion but okay.
