A few of us stayed for a Butlin’s weekender. The room I had was a chalet at the end of a terrace of them, it was homely but there was a number of issues. No towels, tv didn’t work, smell of sewage when water ran and whoever put the sink area in did an awful job - filler everywhere. After 6pm, staff no where to be seen to check in - security staff told me three different places to check in which turned out to be the front gate of all places. The reception for where I was staying was all locked up so couldn’t ask for towels etc but I did see staff going in and out they just didn’t want to deal with the public.Restaurants onsite are poor standard and vastly over priced due to the captive audience.Lack of investment in the staff and the facilities.

We had a great stay during Southport Weekender and were impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. But the main reason for this review is to say a massive thanks to the servicing and lost property team for finding an item of jewellery that we had left in the room. I've just received the item and really grateful for the honest and hardworking staff for making sure it was returned safe and sound.Noteworthy details: Trustworthy cleaning staff and great service from the lost property team!

Bit disappointed some activities only open for limited time in March, lunch is very limited for options. Went for a Big Weekend which was busy and very good.

I have not been to butlins at bognor but my daughter and grand daughter and friends did. They came back on 08/03/2024. And have bought back a very unwanted virus with them. They have all been ill and now me and my wife are ill with sickness and diorreha I have been on Google trying to find any reports of illness and the only thing I can find is about a norovirus on there website from a while back. I would say they have not gotten rid of it at all cause we have all got it. My symptoms are exactly what is reported on NHS website. It has come on all of a sudden strongly within 2 days of them getting back.AVOID this place like the plague at this present time is what I say unless u want 2 be very ill

All the staff were friendly, shows were great, buffet was surprisingly nice, pool was good. The place is a bit run down due to the age and the drinks at bar were a bit limited. Apart from that it was pretty enjoyable.

Great place with the grandkids. Pity that there was some building work going on whilst we were there but on a slight distraction.

We stayed at Butlins recently for the Mighty Hoopla weekend event. It was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Despite booking ‘Deluxe’ - room was dirty, furniture broken and tired, very sparse, cold and dreary! The mixer on the shower was broken - so it was a scorching hot shower or nothing. Toilet flush didn’t work, tiles were filthy,…there were an endless list of things that were wrong. The entire Butlins estate is filthy - it needs a really good coat of paint and repaired throughout… Much of the Butlins experience was absent (due to the event!)..but I wouldn’t ever return here.

Would give it five stars but something's have slipped. Unfortunately this is down to the customers. Wouldn't expect to have to put up with weed smell when in your room. Why oh why. It's a family resort. I have been coming here for over 50 years and have great memories. Hopefully these morons go somewhere else.Rooms: Good size and comfortable beds. Considering the amount of turnover room still looked well. Some signs of ware but nothing to put us off.Food & drinks: Food at hotel was fine. Beer and drink prices a little steep, but can't complain to much.

The room was bad. There was an inch gap at the bottom of the door which had a draught excluder attached, this was 6 inches short on the width and was so worn that there were gaps all along it. The bathroom door had the lock on the wrong way round so it wouldn't have stayed shut if it fitted properly, it caught on the frame. The bottom hinge was rusty and the architrave was rotten. The bath had rust in it and the bottom was scratched very badly plus the shower screen didn't have a seal on the bottom so the floor got soaked when you had a shower. The single beds and mattresses were different sizes so when I turned over on numerous occasions I nearly fell out of it.I went for the 80's weekend, free entertainment, Tony Hadley forgot his words, Toyah was not good at all, Bad Manners wasn't up to par, a UB40 tribute band had a lead singer that couldn't project his voice above the music, a Blues Brothers tribute were ok but not that good and Basil Brush was boring.

Awful place, my partner and her friends went on a weekend stay, one was assaulted and little security available, when they finally turned up they said short staffed and can’t cope with volume of incidents, if your on a drinking weekend in a closed resort you should feel safe but they didn’t so left early, aftercare and contact shocking stating not their fault!Safety: Non existent

Nearby activities: We went on Tots week and had the most amazing time. Our 3 year old loved it and there was something to do every single minute of the day. Can't wait to go back.

A fun tots week away at Bognor Regis Butlins. Staff were lovely. The rooms were clean. Nice mix of activities. And despite the fact that unfortunately there was some trouble the security team were onhand and effective at managing the situation as quickly as possible.
