A typical Wetherspoons, strange atmosphere, a bit musky, dirty tables and chairs, dirty glasses and cutlery also. Also has the trademark 3 mile hike for the toilets. I recommend if you do eat in there don't go off piste, stick with the classics, burgers, curry, pizza, steak, avoid anything fancy like salmon. But amazing value and really useful app, you won't want to go for your anniversary meal but handy when your short of cash and want to go out, or if you can't be bothered to make your tea!

My son wanted his 13th birthday here with a close group of friends and we all had a really good time!! Food was epic! That table order service is lethal ?? still we were about £70 under budget so YAY!! free flow cash ?? lol easy 5 stars <3

Touesday 5 of us for 10:00 breakfast. First problem loads of uncleared tables. Found on with little mess. We all ordered breakfast. All of our meals had fairly warmBaked beans How difficult is it to heat beans? Mushroom missing off one breakfast. And of course no member of staff came to check on the meal or even come close. Despite them not being busy. Not typical Wetherspoons service.Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled toilet and easy access.

Weatherspoons has always affordable prices. English Breakfast is awesome for the price. Bit crowdy during evenings but never mind it has option of ordering over counter as well as app. Just that the tables are not super clean, the place is great for hanging out.

Went for a meal with a few friends. When ordering a drink, there was a misunderstanding about the wine offer, and the manager was very rude and abrupt, there's a witness too re this issue.Contacted head office and yet they did nothing about either, what a surprise.

It's probably one of the smaller ones. In the middle of Burgess Hill High Street. Outside tables are away from the pub, and you are sitting in the middle of the of the high street so shoppers are walking past etc. But it was pretty good otherwise.

The food was ok and served very promptly but was completely marred by the rudeness of the lady I believe is the manageress. After an anomaly with a drink she was extremely argumentative and spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant evening.

Food can be OK but recently it's been awful .some of the staff are lovely. But management are disgusting the way they speak to the public and their own staff especially having go in front of public felt so sorry for that staff member

Food as you would expect from Weatherspoons.Good value; under £20 for lunch and drinks for 3.Food came very quickly but could have been warmer.Staff friendly. You can order and pay via an app, which is handy.

Spoons is spoons to me, can't really go wrong and you know exactly what to expect, cheap food and drink, a quiet almost sombre atmosphere and a toilet up ten flights of stairs, but hey that's spoons for you, it works for me.

We normally go to the Jack fairman in horley because it's local to where my partner lives.Sometimes when we come to Burgess hill where I live and go to the six gold, and we both agree the six gold is better quality than the the Jack fairman

This story is repeating itself for Wetherspoon public houses - we drop in for a quick drink and then stay longer - this time was a pre-dinner drink which turned into a dinner in a comfy booth, as we had difficulty finding a space in restaurants we had found here on Tripadvisor. As we'd had a good lunch we were happy with Halloumi salad and Burrito salad with Scampi side - the scampi were particularly good and the prices are astonishing.

After standing at the bar I felt like I was in a comedy stitch up restaurant/bar. The bar server was possibly the worst I’ve ever encountered . So slow and almost detached from the actual job she was doing. Couldn’t remember what we ordered and was in no rush at all. The que was unbelievable and she was radioing for help and being ignored. The pub was empty. We ordered food in a group of 6 Because the bar server was so slow some of us were still being served whilst others had their meal. The most frustrating part was that the app wasn’t working so we had to endure this. We would have stayed but really couldn’t bare the appalling service any longer.

Busy, especially on a Saturday so expected, cheap food and drinks, one disabled bathroom downstairs, all the others are up two flights of stairs which is part of the experience, bad if you have any kind of disability and the disabled toilet is in use.Alcohol pitchers are great though

Excellent bar . English style. Overall very good prices and some of the best beers I have ever had. They serve them very cold and frothy and if you are served by Louisa one of their friendly waitresses. You are assured of a good evening. Recommended.
